It would not work at all on our computer
Very frustrating for my son. He loved this game when he was younger and wanted to re-live some of the fun but there were compatibility issues.

A solid baseball game just a little slow paced.
I love backyard baseball, used to play this game as kid all the time. Decide to pick it back up but forgot how slow paced it was. Other than that its a fantastic game!

WASTE, DOES NOT WORK! MY 9 YEAR OLD SON USED HIS OWN MONEY TO BUY THIS GAME THAT DOES NOT WORK ON OUR COMPUTER, HE WAS DEVASTATED. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I loved this game when I was younger and have ordered it from Amazon to own again for nostalgia's sake. My main point in this review, however, is to tell as many people as possible that you don't actually need an old computer to run this or many other (if any) Humongous Entertainment titles. Just Google "ScummVM". I can almost 100% guarantee that you'll be on your merry way in no time. Just point the program to where your game files are, and that's pretty much it, unless you want to customize the settings for some reason. Have a good day, and happy retro gaming. :)

WONT WORK ON NEWER COMPUTERS
I'm giving this game only 2 stars because it did not work on my new mac HOWEVER I played this game for years when I was younger and it first came out. If you miraculously have an old enough computer that still functions, buy this game.

It wasn't quite what I wanted
The case was broken and slightly ripped. I'm not sure if it worked because I didn't realize that 16 bit games didn't run on a windows 7.

My gf bought me the original backyard baseball, and then the second backyard baseball. We receive the second one. And it works. Love it. But the first one we received end up being backyard (( basketball WITH NO DISK ))... we message back to let them know what happened and they have not responded back, never gave us a refund.
