Well made and very sharp blade nail cutter. It gives you better visabililty of the bald edge so you see what you are about to cut. It works especially well on toe nails.

Im 80 years old and clipping my toenails is gettingto be a challenge. Both my flexibility and the difficulty of seeing what Im doing with progressive lenses in my glasses caused me to give these clippers a try. I think they work great. The deisgn of the blades make it just about impossible to clip something that's not a nail. I'd buy these again but they are so well made I expect them to last longer than I will

This professional nail clipper decisively cuts thick toenails, and provides a nice, clean cut as compared to mincing away with a standard sized nail clipper. Only my big toes need this, but they are the worst of it anyway. Despite its name as a nail "clipper," it has a scissoring action rather than the clipping action you may be used to in the non-professional clipper lines, but the scissor cut is very controllable. Packaged with the clippers is a nail pick. This is helpful for lifting up the nail side edge if it has embedded a bit into the nailbed. This allows an excellent cut without damaging either the nailbed or the surrounding toe area. It comes in a nice box with an indented foam bed to keep it neat and protect the spring mechanism. My only complaint is that these are a bit large for my hand and I am an average sized woman. Still, they are quite manageable, and I am glad to have found them.

I like these a lot. They are so precise in how much of a tiny nail sliver I can clip, it is amazing. And it is also effortless. They close very titely between the cutting edges. This is the only thing that is ground precisely. Overall the grind is not one of precision and beauty. But one that is practical, inexpansive, and 100% functional. And I appreciate that. I want something inexpansive, but still works relibly. Where the grind is locking in beauty, everything else makes up for it. The handles are very soft ergonomic and comfortable. I really like the design of spring opening action. It is designed to stay out of the way when in storage. This way the cutters use up a minimum amount of space. This is a luxury on an inexpansive item. And I have to mention the box. The box is so beautiful, if it was a car, it would be Mercedes. I kind of wish I was given a choice: a beautiful box, or a $1 in savings. Now, I have to throw away a beautiful box. It bothers me. I wish we could somehow send the box back for reuse, or some sort of meaningful recycling. How about that all shipping boxes are generic. And Amazon picks them up on their next delivery for reuse. That would be meaningful.

My husband needed something strong enough to handle an ingrown nail, and these clippers 100% got the job done. They cut through thick nails with ease and made the process quick less than 30 minutes and his nail was taken care of. The design feels sturdy and professional, and I really appreciate how sharp and precise the blades are. Definitely worth having on hand if you deal with tough or ingrown toenails.

Outstanding product!

The clippers are sturdily made and are very sharp. I found them effective on stubborn toenails. But there's a design flaw with this thing. See photo. During my first use, one of the springs kept popping out and flying across the room. It wouldn't stay in place even when I think I re-inserted it correctly. So I've given up on that one spring and just leave it in the box. Fortunately the other spring stays in place — so far. If that one starts popping out, using the clippers will become difficult and kind of annoying.
