While these definitely help with my arthritic knee pain, they feel like I'm wearing a sweater that's too tight because they are made of knit fabric & after a while I just need to get them the hell off. The more heat, or the more sweat, the faster I feel that way. Definitely better when it's cold. They are good around the house, but I'm finding the need to buy a sports sleeve for outdoor activity, so I can wear them longer.

I can't say how these work as knee braces since I haven't worn them on my knees. I bought them for compression on my calves after severely pulling a muscle and ending up on crutches. I saw the photo of them on the Amazon webpage being used in such a manner. I was so happy to find such a great product for such a reasonable price, especially since you get 2 in the package. They give me the perfect comforting support I need to walk without pain. They may be a bit warm in the summer, but hopefully I won't need them by then.

Work well... but
These really do work better then most knee wraps that I have tried in the past. They stay up better, and feel good on, especially if I am not moving about. However, for me the feeling I get behind my knees from any knee compression product while I walk is aggravating. It is a personal thing for sure. They do help with the arthritis, so I will continue with them.

I find these very comfortable except for the fact that I ordered too large a size and it tends to slip down. The one thing I do not like is that there was a very strong chemical smell when I opened the package. It smelled like a tire store, which makes me wonder if these are made from recycled tires. I washed one several times and the smell has only abated a little. I have worried about it causing a rash on my skin but so far that has not happened. I love how the coverage is better because many knee braces are so short and they just end up bunching up. I can only cautiously recommend these - probably okay if you have no chemical sensitivities and are prepared to wash them one or more times before you wear them.

Works for me!!
I bought this because I have a torn meniscus. It hurts all the time, and my leg would give out at the worst time. I had just purchased a walker, but needed relief from the knee pain,so I ordered this cuff, which comes two to a pack. I put it on over my bad knee, and have worn it all day, nearly pain-free.Initially,I was skeptical, because the sleeve is so thin, and didn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive sleeves. However,I am extremely pleased with this knee sleeve.I have only had it for a few hours, but it has worked perfectly. No "rolling up"with this one. If it doesn't match my review here,I will update.

Causes inflammation!!! Beware
Had acl knee surgery and thought this would be a good compression sleeve based on all the great reviews it got. I really, really tried to like it. But the problem is that if there is any heat in the joint, this makes it even hotter and stiffer, and more inflamed. I tried it just sitting, too much inflammation to wear after even one half hour. I tried it on the bike, slightly better, but nothing to rave about. I tried it standing and walking, had some luck sometimes, but results way to inconsistent to be able to use regularly. Sometimes it would exacerbate stiffness, sometimes cause more swelling, sometimes slightly help. Overall, not the right product if you just had surgery.

They are very comfortable but as you wear them they start to bunch up behind the knee and slide down.. I ordered the size as per instructions. So, I wouldn't buy them again.

They seem to work but won't stay up.
They seem to work, when they stay up. If you are sitting or laying down they are comfortable to wear and seem to ease the swelling, however, once you stand up they start to roll down. You don't have to walk far before they start to roll down your leg, at which point they create a whole new problem. I am looking for garters to hold them in place.
