When I saw this craze about straightening your beard, I though “I gotta try this”. So I used my wife’s travel straightener and I was amazed with the results. I’m 52, so there’s a fair amount of gray in my beard, which can be coarse and frizzy. The straightener made it so much softer and manageable. So I decided to get Tame’s straightener. I should have bought their bigger model with more options. This model does okay, but it takes a while. My beard is probably 2-3” and I plan on growing it out more. But I will keep this model and use it for a travel straightener. I love how fast it heats up and it doesn’t scald your skin. I have to use the highest setting. The comb is an added bonus. The cord on this is awesome! Not only does it swivel, but any man with power tools will recognize that this is a quality power cord. I feel safe leaving it plugged in (but turned off) that it won’t burn my house down. Thinner “lamp cords” get hot to the touch and will cause a fire.

I have owned this unit since March of 2021, and it does a good job of straightening out my beard, however there are some Really annoying design flaws that are not going to get better with this model. First of all, I am a fairly large man and my hands cramp every time I use this danty little handle sized for a pre teen size hand. Real men have large hands, this is a crappy design for a full size real man. Secondly, the "on/off" and "setting" button is located right where your thumb will rest while trying to use the danty little handle, and is easily and often engaged inadvertently to shut off the unit while you are still straightening your beard, extremely irritating to say the least. Thirdly, the base of the brush head gets dangerously hot enough to burn your face so quickly, you often don't even realize that you have burned yourself until someone else points out the scab over the burned area. This unit obviously has no insulation to protect you from burns to the face. The price was reasonable for a basic unit, however I don't believe they should offer such a poorly designed unit to anyone at any price point, it's just a bad product for the majority of men intended to use it. I do realize that I have had this unit for a lot longer than any customer satisfaction warranty would normally allow, if in fact they even have such a thing, but I would appreciate a exchange or upgrade to a better version in a attempt to satisfy a customer that is honest enough to give a truthful review that serves real men looking to buy a great beard straighter that they will not have to complain about in the future or even return to find something better from a different manufacturer.

This works great !! I must have 5 different beard balms and waxes guaranteed to keep my goatee from curling under . None of them worked at all . This brush I used in the morning and kept my goatee straight all day . I highly recommend

Oh, man... if I could give this bad boy 10, I would.. listen, I have a red, very coarse beard, it never lays flat no matter what I slap on it, or how I comb it, nothing.. so I decided, what the hell, let's try heated brush.. after the first use, it not only straightened it, it made it look fuller and I looked like a Greek god... minus the muscles and being greek.. point is on top of that it is now more acceptable to taking treatments like my beard shampoo and conditioner, and oil.. so instead of being able to scrape paint off a car with my beard, its neat. Clean and softer.. do yourself a favor.. dont hesitate... buy it, you won't be disappointed!!!

Resisted buying a beard straightener foe ages, finally caved and bought this one and it's amazing. 30 seconds knocks some sense into my unruly mess and straightens it out with no tangling or burning. Love this thing.

I just got this last week and have used it only a few times. So far it’s been awesome ! It heats up fast and really does a good job. To be truthful, I had no clue which one to pick . I scrolled through several and bought this one as it was a good price . Packaging was good and instructions are straight forward. I use beard oil and balm and with this heated comb my goatee has gone from curling and bunching up to straight and looking full. I have received several compliments now that it’s straight and full. I was using my wife’s very expensive hair dryer and this comb works awesome.

Decent brush. Works well when my beard is out of control. Just wish it came with something to easily store it away.

It gets pretty warm, but didn’t burn my face. Straightens well but you need to brush slowly for best results. I like it!

This was a gift for my husband and he loved it! He uses it for his beard every day!
