What is the max width door this can accommodate?

This floor guide fits door thickness up to 3".

What is the ideal distance the door should be above the floor and the bracket holding the wheels? The wheels look short.

The thickness of bracket foundation is 1/4",so the distance from the bottom for door to floor greater than 1/4" will be OK.
