Easy to install and works fine

This is a first rate quality primer bulb. It solves any problems your old and deteriorated primer bulb may have. When priming / pumping gasoline, keep the directional flow arrow aiming up so the valve will work correctly, easy enough to do. Once gas has moved through the bulb, the bulb can be pumped in any position to move fuel. Will definitely buy more of these in the near future for my two boats. This bulb can also work great as a siphon pump for transferring fuel. Just put correct diameter hoses on each end the lengths of your choice. I was able to siphon older boat gas out of my tank and use it in my car. No waste, no mess.

They say you get what you pay for. That certainly proves true for this fuel primer bulb with the brand name "Attwood". I've tried to cheap out a couple times and use no name ones, they always leak. Some, the one-way valve does not hold and they crack out within a month or two. This Atwood bulb is considerably thicker and the connectors are well crimped into the rubber body - NO LEAKS ! As a result of it being made of a thicker rubber material, it is a bit harder to squeeze than the cheap thin ones. The one way check valve seems to be holding well and my system has a 75psi electric fuel pump pulling from the out flow side of the primer bulb. My electric fuel pump does seem to pull enough to somewhat collapse the primer buld during use, but not enough to affect the fuel delivery, or cause problems with the bulb. Overall, yeah, this is GREAT primer bulb and will definitely not be cheaping out these going forward.

Would have given it five stars if it were a little less spendy. Then again, my budget one failed after a couple of years so I guess you get what you pay for.

Perfect replacement for 25 hp motor fuel tank.

Used to bring fuel to my '72 Arctic Cat Panther which has fuel tank in the back. I suppose I could install it permanently, but I just disconnect afterwards after bringing initial fuel to the carb. It seems to be only an issue after I run the tank dry. Much better than sucking gas into my pie hole.

Just installed this 5/16 primer bulb on my Cummins 7000 watt generator. Super easy to install. Secured the ends with a couple of hose clamps. No fitting issues. No sign of leaking from the primer bulb. The rubber looks like quality material and I hope it will last for a while. After a few pumps the generator is primed with fuel and started up on the first try. Normally it would of taken multiple attempts before starting. I wish I had installed this sooner.

Well I Bought it & So far I'm not impressed with this one. When I went to use it it failed me! It didn't draw any gas at all & YES the Arrow was pointed in the Correct direction this is not my first Rodeo. Now I do realize that it's entirely possible that I recieved that 1 rareity that was just bad But it's going to be returned none the less & I will order another one that hopefully doesn't have the same problem where it just doesn't draw any gas? Anyways I will try it 1 more as I have used this brand with success on my other Outboards before without issues & I will decide on how many more Stars this product will receive after I have a chance to use one that actually Works!
