How many daily alarms does this have?

Apparently I'm the only guy here with a clue. The watch can run five seperate alarms. Four of which can be configured to "one time" or "daily" operation. Once you push any button the alarm is canceled. The fifth alarm is also a daily alarm, but is of the snooze type. It will sound off every five minutes up to seven times. Or cancel it before.

Is this watch the same basic size as a g shock dw-6900?

Id say its 5-10% bigger. The full display makes it visually larger but its not going to be massive or awkward if youre used to a 6900. If youre on the fence, id just go for it. Its been my go to for work and it doesnt dissapoint.

Every now and then - at random times - the watch vibrates and a note "time's up" comes up in the day of week display. any way to shut this off?

Does it have a dual time zone?

It has the option to turn DST on/off. It also has world time capability listing dozens of cities, covering every time zone. You can select one and then easily switch between it and your home time zone.
