ScubaPro Spectra Low Volume 2 Window Dive Mask

I have to say that I just tried the mask in my pool, no open sea dive yet, so this review may change once I have a chance to do so. I have read a lot of reviews complaining about fog. If you forgot to clean your mask from the chemicals they put to protect for transportation and delivery you will sure have that issue. This is a basic knowledge for a scuba diver, ALWAYS clean your mask after getting it. I used toothpaste to clean the mask yesterday’s night, and today I used it 20 minutes no stop, without removing it once, and ZERO problems with fogginess. Also, the mask adjusted perfectly to my face, so no leaks at all. Just make sure, that like with any other mask, apply anti-fog liquid, soap or saliva to the mask of course.

The first time I wore it, I wasn’t used to having a mask seal up against my nostrils. When I sprayed my baby shampoo and water mixture for anti-fog, it bugged the heck out of me pooling at my nostrils. Once I got used to it on 8 subsequent dives it was a non issue. I haven’t shaved in 2 weeks and with a full beard it STILL seals beautifully. The ONLY flaw is the silver paint on the frame is already flaking 8 dives in. That’s quite a disappointment (hence 4 stars), but only cosmetic.

I’m very happy with my Scubapro mask, this is my second one I have purchased, the first one I’ve had for 8 years. (I got this one to add my prescription.) I find they are a very comfortable fit and don’t leak due to the soft well fitting skirt. Best thing you can say is once you’re wearing it underwater you don’t notice it. A quality mask.

Bought two pair of these- one for me and one for my wife. After 2 scuba dives at 60 feet/40-50min underwater, and a few days of snorkeling to boot, I give these goggles a big thumbs up. When they did leak, it was my fault for not adjusting them properly. After refitting them lower on my face they were excellent. No leaks and very comfortable. I have a mustache, no problem. My wife’s face is quite small, no problem for her. Just be sure to clean out the insides when you first get them like you should and they’ll be fantastic for you too. Looks like they’ll be great for years to come.

I do scuba diving. This mask has very soft seals around which makes it very comfortable to wear. That will be a problem while diving with hood - it is hard to make a good seal under the hood. The most disappointing was that the belt has rubbing on very small portion of usable surface. The mask seals well but the bad can get loose very easily due to lack of rubber stoppers on it. I had a critical flood due to loosen belt at 30 feet which wasn’t fun.

Good looking piece of equipment. The silicone is very soft and the mask fits well and comfortably and is easily adjusted. The large lenses should give excellent visibility. I haven't been able to test it diving yet but I see no reason why it won't be perfect and look forward to using it soon.
