MBRP S5259AL 4" Cat Back, Single Exhaust System (Aluminized Steel)

Simple to put on, very happy with the quality, shipping was faster than expected even around the holidays. It is a little loud for what I was expecting, but the the exhaust still sounds awesome in my opinion for a turbo v6.

First off I love this exhaust, it sounds awesome on my 2.7l. I do not however enjoy after just two years of light use to my truck having to purchase a new exhaust system due to the fact it is rusted right thru. I cannot believe this thing only lasted two years. I use my truck primarily on weekends, put an average of less than 8k a year on it, and it still rusted like this. If you like replacing your exhaust every 2 years then this is the one for you.

Installation was easy shipping was fast beyond that there’s nothing else good I can say it sounds like crap there is basically no muffler because it’s straight pipe and in less than two years muffler rotted right through and broke off if you live in New England or anywhere in the north do not buy this it is a waste of money contacted and BRP for replacement but they don’t cover rust or rot total waste of $400 do not buy if you have to buy the system go stainless and spend the extra money

Very loud. Even on a 2.7. Fits well, everything lines up. Serious drone at highway rpm. Overall doesn’t sound great at any RPM. The way it’s tuned I doubt it sounds good on other engine sizes either. Not 304 so it’s gonna discolor and rust but slower than aluminized steel. Even after adding a second 4” resonator, still loud and drones but livable. Way cheaper even with the add ons than replacing my broken factory exhaust with OEM. Ford likes to put weak flex pipes in their systems where there difficult to just weld in a new one. And that’s where mine broke. There’s probably better out there for the money.

First thing this supplier sent the exhaust next day!! Now for the exhaust. It arrived in perfect condition. For install I would rate it 5 out of 10. Not to bad. With me never doing an exhaust before it took about 1.5hrs. Now for the sound. I have the 3.5L and when I say it's loud, I mean it's loud ! So this also goes to other reviews, you are buying an exhaust designed to be loud, don't complain about it being loud when you bough it designed to he loud.. I absolutely love it. The one negative that I have. The exhaust tip does not attach supper sturdy and kinda has me worried it will disappear one day. UPDATE. The black coating on the exhaust is already coming off. Very disappointed in that aspect.

Overall I like the sound yes I know you won't get that true v8 sound with this system but it does have a nice tone with it. I went had it installed professionally I probably could've done it myself but didn't have the lift . And I don't trust jack stands not when you have to push and pry off the old exhaust.. but Overall I'm happy with the exhaust and I just order an 8in tip for it I like the 5in it came with it but... I miss my big tips that I had on my old truck.

Parts were damaged and missing, but got it all taken care of and installed, and it sounds great, it's pretty bad ass and has a 5" tip, I'm really happy with it. It is a bit loud at cold start and when I step on the gas if your looking for more quiet I'd add as resonator, but then why by an exhaust in the first place.

product seemed good at first, started leaking about a month in, could not tighten to seal exhaust leak entering muffler. now muffler is cracked 90% around incoming seal weld. total junk and about to fall off truck. only 19 months old and cracked and leaking exhaust and condensation!!!!!

Perfect fit and sounds great. 4 " makes a nice deep sounds and looks good install was very easy.

Super fast shipping easy install not missing a part recommend highly ! No to loud at all only when you press down hard on the gas and at highway speeds barely noticable

As much as I love the sound, it's loud. Turn the radio up. Easy install, but suggest you buy different clamps.

I put this Exshaust on my 2012 f150 5.0 it fit even the hangers lined up this Exshaust is 4 inch all the way back from the 3 inch flange off the the cats now for the review the Exshaust is a bit loud but makes the truck sound like it’s a beast there a little drone in the cab but it’s not to bad if your towing all the time the drone is worse I just turn up the radio lol fuel economy drop a little 14.8 per 100 k now still better than an old rusty Exshaust
