Excellent sauce - if only the Swiss Chalet was still in the USA!

I grew up in Canada but now live in California. I am so glad that I do not have to wait for my friend to mail this to me anymore. It tastes just like the restaurant in Canada. Grab a roast chicken and already made mashed potatoes with some Hawaiian rolls. Diner is ready!!! Soooo goood!!

Since I no longer live in Canada, eh this was a welcome taste to bring back memories form years ago. I buy specialty frozen French fries, cheese curds and this and VOILA: POUTINE! So I get a 2-fer by having memories of Swiss Chalet (OMG I SO MISS ROTISSERIE CHICKEN) as well as Poutine. YaY. I will purchase again for sure.

Lived in Canada 2 years then returned to U.S. and miss Swiss Chalet. I found this recently and am completely shocked this tastes exactly like what you get fresh in the restaurant - honestly I think in the restaurant they probably use this exact same mix. My Canadian wife is so happy with this and mixes up a little pot of it while I'm out fetching a rotisserie chicken from anywhere. Unique chicken dipping sauce, slightly festive flavor but good year-round.

If you want the best dipping sauce with your chicken this is it hands down.

When Swiss Chalet was in the city I lived in, it was our favorite place for chicken, their french fries and that AMAZING dipping sauce. So happy to be able to buy online and satisfy our craving for the sauce. I do feel that the product is way overpriced, however, and will probably not order as many times as I would like to. I packet was barely enough for two of us as we love to even soak our french fries in the sauce. Buy a broasted chicken at the grocery store and french fries at a fast food place, and we are living Swiss Chalet again. But if we would serve this to our family when they visit, 3 packets would not be enough. Please lower the price, so we can afford it more often! I really think it is probably double what it should cost.

Having grown up in Canada, I always loved Swiss Chalet Rotisserie Chicken meals including their French fries and a toasted bun. What made it special was the tangy dipping sauce, served warm. This sauce packet is easy to prepare, just add water to the powder, heat to a boil while stirring, and then simmer a bit until it thickens. I use it to dip my chicken and fries and it tastes just like I remember from the restaurants. I can literally drink any remaining sauce. I only wish it was sold here in the US, as it’s a bit pricy. I also bought the canister size which is a bit cheaper per ounce. Highly recommended. St. Hubert BBQ also makes a similar product, but I prefer Swiss Chalet’s sauce.
