Thank You Amazon! I had been looking for this CD for 9 years until I bought it off you! Thank You so much! For any fans of Jermaine Jackson this is the the Greatest hits CD you should buy & have as it has several greatest hits along with the song Tell Me I'm not dreaming (Too Good To Be True) which is a duet with brother Michael Jackson! Which is not available in any of Jermaine's other greatest hits CD's

Ive always liked the Jackson clan....songs here and there and somehow Jermaine has always been on my list of songs and/or cds to get.....when I saw this collection, which had everything....it was perfect....had not only my faves but some I had forgotten along the way too....awesome collection :)

Como parte de la colección Playlist, esta recopilación de quien quizás fue el segundo mayor referente de The Jackson 5 y The Jacksons posee lo justo para conocer buena parte de su trabajo en solitario. Inicia con su primer top 10 en los Estados Unidos, el cover de la canción "Daddy's Home" lanzado en 1972 y luego, saltando algunos años, nos presenta "Let's Get Serious", canción coescrita y producida por Stevie Wonder, que igualó lo conseguido en 1972, alcanzando el puesto 9. Destaca que la versión incluida es la del álbum (7:59) y no la del sencillo (3:31). Luego, otro salto en el tiempo, para llevarnos a "Let Me Tickle You Fancy", la colaboración de Jackson con la agrupación Devo. La parte fuerte del disco inicia en la pista cuatro, con la energizante "Dynamite", seguida de la refinada "Do What You Do" (su mayor éxito en el Reino Unido), y sus colaboraciones con su hermano Michael y Pia Zadora, respectivamente, en las canciones "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Too Good To Be True)" y "When The Rain Begins To Fall" (coescrita esta última por la legendaria Peggy March). Esa parte medular del CD finaliza con la novena pista, "(Closest Thing To) Perfect", tema principal de la cinta "Perfect", protagonizada por John Travolta y Jamie Lee Curtis. Otra favorita incluida es "I Think It's Love" en la que nuevamente aprovechó el genio creativo de Wonder y del experimentado productor Michael Omartian. También incluye los éxitos menores "Do You Remember Me?", "Whatcha Doin'", "Don't Take It Personal" y "You Said, You Said". Cabe añadir que "Dynamite", "Do What You Do" y "Do You Remember Me?" se incluyen en sus versiones single.

このPlaylistシリーズは、意外性のあるヴァージョンが含まれることがあるので、なかなかこだわった人が関わっているような気がします。弟、マイケルの陰に隠れながらだったけど、結構、いい作品を残しているんですよね。ここには入ってないけど、数年前に久しぶりの新曲Summer Time Feelingも良かったなぁ。ぜひ、新作を発表してもらいたいものです。あっ！このPlaylist・・・買いだと思いますよ。
