It is OEM for my 15 year old Series 600
My vacuum is 15 years old but outcleans my newer Shark Rotator. I was so glad I could get the primary filter. These can be washed, which I do, but eventually it needs a new one. I hope they don't discontinue this part!

Direct replacement
There's not much to say about it except that it's a direct replacement and works as well as the original. If you have a spare on hand such as this one, you can rotate the dry one into the vacuum cleaner while you wash the other one.

Perfect size and fit
This was bought to replace another generic filter I had previously had in my kenmore canister vacuum. Its works just as good as the one that came with the vacuum and other replacements. The price was fair and in line if not lower than others advertised. Definitely recommend.

Sears say the part is unavailable…
With Sears having shrunk to a mere shadow of its former self, I was concerned I would not be able to find replacement filters for my Kenmore bagless canister vacuum. The Sears support and parts site says the part was no longer being manufactured and no substitute was available. So of course I did a search on Amazon and Voilá! the exact OEM part IS available, and even under the old part number. My 10-year old machine is back to running like new with much improved suction.
