It just would not click for her. We were able to get through the 0 - 6 but when it came to 7, 8 and 9 it was like a brick wall. I have tried several different products and nothing seemed to work. It was a constant struggle. I purchased this book and I am so glad I did. We started with the 9's last week and with just 3 very short lessons using some of the resources in this book she has mastered them plus there was no screaming no frustration nothing but fun. We used the print outs provided on the cd to recognize the patterns, played Condition game, Nine across game and then after I thought she had it I had her do predict and check the 9 facts. She got them all right. She now is a little more confident. I also like that this gives teaching help for division. I am looking forward to having this as a resource for the rest of my children. I am even ordering the Addition and Subtraction book for my two littlest ones. Review: Helpful guide for a parent looking to give my kid extra "enrichment" in math facts. - I was looking to boost my kid's confidence in basic math facts and flash cards weren't working well. This book is made for teachers, but I found it useful to give me a framework on which to build 15 minute daily lessons. I really like that it focuses on rules of math and how to think about the numbers rather than just memorizing. Once he has the rules down, he has something to "hang" the memorization on. The online printable materials have also been useful. I do wish it had a little more to help me with division.

Excellent Resource
My purpose was to have a more current handle on how to approach tutoring for students in school today. I was an education major many moons ago so I wanted approaches. In essence it was a refresher. Many approaches have not changed but the use of math is better contextualized and is reinforced through applied usage. It has been an excellent resource.

Great games fun and engaging
The games in this book are all word documents so if you want to change them you can. My students love the games. There is a great parent letter. I made copies of the games and sent them home with students after introducing them in class. The feedback from parents was great.

Great program! Just what we needed
I am a special ed teacher in a co-taught classroom, and this has been the perfect fit to supplement and help bring more meaning to multiplication. It's been wonderful to see the students connections, whether through money, stories, time, etc. Thanks so much!
