Very nice Air filter replacement for my Tesla MSP, I was going to purchase the HEPA type for only $2 more but I believe that filter would make the air conditioning system work harder than necessary in order to force the air through the system, It would be like adding a MERV 13 filter to your home's air conditioning system when it only calls for a Merv 8, sure it traps more particulates but the system has to work harder to do so, that's what the larger HEPA filter located in the frunk is for. This filter looks very similar to the OEM filter it replaces, it's not as rigid as the OEM but it has the exact same dimensions. Happy customer!

Installation of the cabin filters in a Tesla Model 3 isn't particularly simple as they're somewhat buried in the center console and that damn torx screw holding the cover on is a true pain in the rear to get at. These filters came with a simple set of installation instructions and a torx allen wrench for the cover screw. The instructions were easy enough to follow (I had previously watched a video on replacement) and I didn't have any issues related to them (though I do think I lost one of the clips for the side panel somewhere - the instructions tell you to use a tool to remove the panel, but I don't really see how that would be possible). The only real issue with them was that unlike the OEM filters, there was no marking on the filters themselves as to the installation orientation. The instructions indicated that there would be markings, but my set did not have any visible markings. They appear to be of similar construction as the OEM filters so I installed them with the yellow side facing the condenser, which was how the OEM filters were installed.

Like many others I noticed a bit of a moldy smell during the first minute or two after turning on the AC in my Model 3. I wasn't sure if it was the cabin filter or the evaporator/coil itself, so I swapped out the stock filters for these and used a can of Kool-It to clean the coil following a couple of YouTube videos. The whole procedure took about an hour, most of which was me trying to figure out how to remove the panels to get to the filter, which is not particularly accessible. Make sure you have a T-20 torx bit and preferably a small socket wrench or flex-head screwdriver to get to the filter cover panel. At the end of the day I don't know whether it was the new filter or the Kool-It that got rid of the smell, but it was definitely cheaper than spending $150 to have Tesla do the same procedure.

Perfect fit. Virtually identical to the Teslas brand, except for the yellow color which is not a problem. I am very happy with these filters, especially after trying some third party version which were really bad. I highly recommend these and the company, everything I have bought from them is high quality. It comes with the needed tools too!

They smell them like plastic and it’s not going away. They smell like new tennis balls. I am going to see couple of days before I return. Installation is kind of easy as they give required tool kit.

Klare Empfehlung für jeden Teslafahrer mit einem Auto ab 2-3 Jahren. Filter und beiliegendes Werkzeug wirken sehr hochwertig. Der Tausch ist auch für jeden Anfänger-wie mich!!- in ca. 10-15 Minuten zu erledigen. Mein Tipp: vorher schnell ein Video zum Wechsel im Netz anschauen und schon hat man den Tausch der Filter erledigt 😉

Exactement le même modèle qu'à l'origine, facile à installer. J'avais un problème d'odeur dans la voiture et changer le filtre l'a corrigé. Tesla laisse un DIY dans le manuel de l'utilisateur, c'est très utile. En plus des filtres, vous aurez une petite clé dans le colis, la seule nécessaire (avec un tournevis plat), pour le changement des filtres.

Not a reflection on the product (which is great), but make sure you watch the right instructions for your model year Tesla - over time, Tesla have changed the cover plate for the filters, so don’t do what I did, and end up removing more screws than you need to!
