This is my 1st review but I have used Amazon for a few years now. My Ram fob key started having issues so I went to the dealership and they said about $400 per key for a new one. So I decided to look on Amazon. When I saw this key I was a little hesitant but was thinking if it doesn't work I'll just return it. Well I went to the locksmith and they programmed it for me actually both keys for $75. So now I have 2 new keys and I'm only out about $100 as opposed to $80] for 2 new key fobs. Granted it's only been about 4 days but no issues yet. The locksmith asked were I got them and when I said Amazon he laughed saying it probably wouldn't work correctly but it does!!!

The price was right to replace the rubber pad on my key fob. The OEM keypad stop working correctly. So I found this one online. Pulled in apart and transfer the rubber pads to the existing key fob and at work fantastic. Was able to use my existing circuit board. For under twenty dollars I have a key fob that works now

These programmed and everything worked perfect but after a short time they won't unlock the doors. Have tried replacing the batteries as well as following the procedure to get the ram to recognize the keys again. After that they unlock or lock the doors 1 time and stop working again. Key fobik will still start the truck but remote functions will not work.

I bought these for spares for my truck because I only had one FOB left. Took them to a local Dodge dealer in North Phx (Auto Nation) to get programmed and keys cut and they work great for what I need them for. It was also cheaper for me to take to the dealer for programming then calling out a locksmith. They only charged one fee for as many FOBS that I wanted programmed. Note: These are not OEM quality but if you are looking for a spare that will not be your daily user I highly recommend.

Purchased these as spare Fobiks for my 2020 Ram Tradesman. Had the metal “emergency keys “cut to match my original one, 2 for $9 to cut them at a locksmith. I then used AlfaOBD and my dealer pin code and was able to program these fobs to work with the truck in about five minutes. All in all between the fobs and having the internal keys cut I’m out maybe $35 for two new fobs, as opposed to around $300 EACH at the dealership. Of course, you have to have the AlfaOBD (Android) software, the correct OBD reader, your dealer pin and feel comfortable with doing this type of programming. In addition if you have a 2018 or newer model year ram truck you’ll need a security gateway bypass harness.

Bought these to replace the 2 key fobs to our 2014 Dodge Ram. The push buttons have gradually Stopped working. We finally found a place and had them programmed. Sadly they did not work. We refused to pay over $400.00 each for a new key fob at the dealership. As a last resort, we took the contacts off these replacement fobs and put them in the original fobs and we now have 2 original key fobs that work!

I bought one of these 3 years ago. I bought another one just the other day. Looks just like my factory key (minus the RAM logo) and functions perfectly. I had a buddy program it for me.

When I bought, I was afraid that I could not program. I already had a bad e-buy experience, BUT +++++ The program has become excellent, easy and fast, it works well. Saved dollars if I bought at a dealership. Thank you for the quality product

used alfaOBD software and programmed the key to work with my truck the slot the metal key slides into is not quite right for fitting the factory key into but other than that it works well
