All around great product that is currently saving us several hundred dollar.s
So my girlfriends BoxerBull HATES having his nails clipped. He freaks out no matter how hard we try to make it a positive experience. He simply hates the feeling of his very large nails being cut. His nails are pretty big and his old nail clippers caused them to splinter some times due to this. After seeing how quickly our vet could clip his nails with similar clippers to these we decided to buy a pair. Don't get me wrong, he still fusses up a storm and kicks me in the face but now it is actually possible to clip all of his nails in one go. We don't have to pay for them to be clipped anymore which will save us a good deal since his nails have become over grown. We were even thinking of opting to pay the several hundred dollars for the procedure to cut them back down. I don't believe we will need to be doing that anymore. These are sharp , safe and easy to use. It has a guard on the back so that we aren't afraid of cutting to much and getting his wick. Which was for us a big fear since he always pulls his legs and causes us to missfire. They also don't require nearly as much hand strength or force that our old ones needed. Which causes us to have to take multiple breaks. His nails haven't splintered yet since we started using these and the clips are neat and clean. I didn't know what to expect at this price point but these are absolutely fantastic. I won't completely dread having to spend half an hour sweating and fighting my dog to get half his nails clipped. I am extremely glad I bought these. They work great on puppies too. All around great product.

These work Great & This is how to do it.
Excellent clippers. Esp for frequent tip trimming. My English Bulldog freaks out if I even look at his nails. Using these clippers I can trim 1 at a time (just the tip, angle back on top) whenever he’s asleep in my lap, in 1 sec, w/out him waking up. He never feels, hears or sees them. This is the way. No need to trim all at once. just keep the clippers handy. No stress, no big production, no fail. You’ll also get really fast at it & get to know their individual nails. They’re all different.

Great trimmers, especially for smaller pups, but prone to cosmetic rusting/discoloration.
These are my favorite dog nail trimmers! Great for small dog nails, sharp and easy to use. I purchased them after seeing a favorite groomer use them for small dogs. Only reason it's a 4 star instead of 5 is that after time, just storing them with other dog things in a bin, they have rusted somewhat. They still are sharp and cut fine, but look a little janky now. It is humid in this area, so that could be contributing, but I was disappointed in how they look now.

Highly recommend
We purchased these nail clippers to replace an older pair, and we’re so glad we did! These new clippers work incredibly well compared to our previous ones. They’re sharp, easy to use, and the built-in guard is a great feature to prevent cutting the nails too short. It made trimming our dog’s nails so much easier and faster. Highly recommend!

Great for dogs afraid of the Dremel!
Great clippers for my larger puppy we just adopted. We've been trying to adjust her to the Dremel but she's not having it. We don't want her nails to get too long while we work on it and we don't want her to fight nail trims because she's a big girl and could head butt us and knock us out, or give us a nasty scratch if she was frantic. So far she's been very easy to acclimate to the clippers. I got the nail file from the same brand to file away the sharp edges left behind, but haven't gotten her desensitized to that yet. But as long as her nails get trimmed, that all I care about! I'm the photo you can see her nails on her front paw where we've trimmed them a little!

Pooch Pedicures Made Easy!
My poor old spaniel is getting up there in years. Blind as a bat, going deaf, and his hips are giving out. All he has left is his appetite and tummy rubs. Taking him to the groomer is stressful for him--and sheer anguish for me. I can't shave his fur in the summer, but I can spare him the visits just for nail trimming...now that I've discovered the Safari Professional Pet Nail Trimmer. The clippers are surprisingly easy to use, the cut is clean and precise, and you don't need tremendous pressure to cut straight through. I was afraid of hitting the dreaded quick and making my little guy bleed, but a quick check on Google for nail cutting tips (and simple but excellent instructions on the packaging of these clippers) made that a non-problem too. Just look at the underside of the dog's nail. Even on blackest nails, you can see the pinker or lighter part of the nail, which is the quick. Place the clippers a bit above that (in the direction away from the foot pad) and you're fine. My first time clipping Stanley nails was a cinch. And believe me, this dog has feet the size of saucers and nails to match. Thick as pinky fingers. I waited until Stanley was sleeping (he has never been a dog with lightening like reflexes...even as a youngster, people meeting him for the first time always thought he was dead, took a paw, checked to see where the "quick" ended and 'snip' -- that fast, that simple. About halfway through the pedicure he woke up, but not sensing any food in the immediate area, dozed back off again so I could complete the job. My niece has a little poodle who is also pushing the envelope in terms of age. However, her dog doesn't have my Stanley's sweet disposition and is on the No Fly List at most of the groomers in town. She asked me if I'd do the dog's nails for her. I guess she figured I'm older and have less to live for. Anyway, we got a big pile of treats ready. My niece kept tossing them into the dog's mouth, distracting her, while I went to work on the nails. This is the same trick my manicurist uses with me and it worked equally well with the dog. If you've been considering trimming your dog's nails yourself, these are a very good tool. Dogs'nails grow very quickly; they need frequent trimming. The nails are connected to the leg bones and when they get too long, can jar the animal and make walking uncomfortable--particular in dogs with hip problems and/or arthritis and other joint issues. These affordable clippers cost about what a single nail clipping does at the groomers, so it's money well spent.

If I could add a 6th star, I would! My dog is a 40lb, mid-aged gs/husky mutt. She has black nails and thankfully allows me to cut them. I'd been using the same nail snipper for years and had started to wonder if the blades may have dulled and were causing her any discomfort. Happily I had a second pair squirreled away that I had seldom used and ... That one was worse! Both were cheaper ones I'd purchased on Amazon in a similar style as this one. Imagine my surprise when I spent a little more and made sure the scissor was appropriate for the nail of a larger dog! The old ones would create a 'snap!' sound and feeling as I clipped through the nail. This one just went through like butter! Easier on my hands, my dog's nails, and so easy to operate! The slight indentation where the nail is centred to clip creates a bit of a blind spot, but these snippers go through so easily I just intentionally look to feed a tiny bit of nail at a time and then re-assess if another snip is warranted. My dog has a calcium rich diet as she is raw fed. I knew her coat and teeth were in healthy condition because of that, but, it never occurred to me that her nails might be extra strong as well. Happy to have found a much sharper, stronger tool to make this routine activity less stressful for both of us!

buscava unas tijeras que cortaran mucho ya que si no cortan bien les astilla las uñas y se pueden hacer daño al rascarse ellos mismos, estas dejan corte limpio.

The item is quite small. So big hands may find it awkward to use when treating the animal.
