Great Sounding Strings
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these. They stay in tune, and sound really good. I put them on my Ibanez AS 73. It loves them! Easy to bend too.

The best.
Let me tell you. These strings are the absolute best. I’ve been playing them for 19 years since you could go buy a pack at Walmart above the first act guitars for 3.88 a pack. They stay in tune, they rarely break, they keep good tone, they might even cure minor illnesses and injuries, I’m not sure but I wouldn’t be surprised. If I was hungry enough I would eat a pack and I’m almost certain they would take the shape of a 16 piece KFC bucket in my mouth. They are magical like that. F*** what you heard about any other “brand” of guitar string. There is only one brand. GHS Ok Boomers.

These are a winner
I've been playing for a long time, formerly professionally. I've tried a lot of different strings. During the 90s I needed to change my strings almost weekly. This is "pre-Internet" if you will. My personal experience was, D'Addario strings seemed to break the easiest on me. Ernie Balls went dead the quickest it seemed. I kept coming back to GHS Boomers. They recorded well and they seemed to last the longest (brilliance in sound and playability). I recently found the thin cores and really like them. They feel great, sound/record well, and seem to retain their fidelity longer than others.

Great strings, long lasting.
I love these strings because they are roundcore. For anyone who isn’t familiar, look into roundcore vs hexcore strings. There’s a difference and you might be using the wrong strings for your liking.

Treble string issues.
I usually stick to D'Addario and Ernie Ball, but these were on sale so I picked up 3 sets. The guitar I use for metal and hard rock is a Charvel DC-1. I don't do much soloing on it, since I like the way it "chugs" thanks to its EMGs. This means I'm using mostly the bass strings and if the treble strings are getting any action, it's not going to be much. Minutes after restringing the guitar, the first string (high E) snapped. I thought I may have wound it too tight, but I've done this a million times before, so I'm sure I was just as careful as all the other times. "No problem", I said. "Let's just take the .10 string out of another pack and throw it on." The G string snaps. OK, let's just chalk it up to a bad set and restring the whole thing. I used what was left of the 2nd pack that I had opened to get the E string out of. The E string snaps again. I said "screw it" and took them all off and just threw on a set of Ernie Ball Hybrid that I had in the guitar case. No issues. Your mileage may vary, but I'll be avoiding these from now on.

great strings
These are great strings. I put these on a 4 string alto guitar and they sound really nice. Good tone and smooth feel on your fingers. They seem to hold their tuning very well. They also seem very durable.
