It's a bit shorter than other garlic crushers, which makes it fit better in the drawer. It's unpainted metal, so no risk of paint chips. And it works well. The only downside is that the flippy part is a bit loose and sometimes leans sideways so it needs put into its socket manually.

Buying already crushed garlic is good, but crushing it yourself makes the flavor a lot more intense.

I had gotten this as a gift for my mother and it was pretty good for her to use. Otherwise, she would have to peel it with her hands or with a knife and that was often very uncomfortable for her. It isn't that big either so she could just store it in her kitchen drawer without it taking too much space. It also doesn't cost that much and works well so it has great value for what I'm paying for it. Peeling is very easy for her to do and even I (who is not the best at methodological kitchen work) can work this peeler.

I love this garlic press. I have done garlic the old fashioned way where you peel and mince and that way is great only I always had heavy garlic smelling hands when done. Loading the cloves into the press( one at a time after pealing) and squeezing it makes crushing the garlic a simple quick and easy task with less mess to clean. It is easy to handle. I use a small kitchen brush to clean it when washing and put it away when dry. It is made of strong metal and I imagine it will last me a long time. I do have a food processor and could use that but it's more work to pull it out and crush my garlic. Then I have to wash the processor parts when done and a whole lot of effort which I could have avoided just by using this handy dandy tool! I think I saw this used on You Tube and decided to search for it on Amazon. It's priced under 10 dollars and I feel like after using even one time, that I got my money's worth out of it already!

Plastic or smth that looks like metal , light weight. Works ok so far (I don't mince garlic every day) but ehh I am not having high hopes for it's future lol

YES! I am a kitchen gadget junkie but only for things that actually work, and contributes to ease in the food preparation process. This is a handy, easy to use tool to crush garlic. Roasting whole garlic cloves brings forward the sweetness of the garlic, but when just a few small pieces are needed to brown, sauté then place a clove in the press and squeezing directly into a pan or dish - this is the tool to use.

I really like the quality, easy to use and clean. The only downside is that it’s often too small for a regular garlic clove. Most of the times I have to cut cloves in half for a fit in the presser.
