The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat 1

If you enjoy situation comedies and young romance, then you'll enjoy this title. Don't be mislead by the title, this isn't Hentai. The main character is just girl-crazy. The story is about a high school boy who hides behind an agreeable mask and wishes he could be more open. He gets his wish and finds himself a great deal too honest. He just blurts out whatever he is thinking, and it is ruining his life! Or is it? He says a lot of embarassing things but his honesty has a way of breaking through the facades of other characters resulting in new friendships. The girl on the cover goes through a similar transformation; she wished to be able to hide her feelings more. Knowing each other's secret, they decide to work together and get back their original personalities. The story is engaging and comical. This is a not-quite harem story. So far he hasn't started living with any of the girls, at least. The art inside is as good as the cover, it is straight shoenen manga style with lots of beautiful girls (bishojo). Paging through the artwork, I want to read it again. Evidently, this is a title people have been waiting for, which backs up my own good review. Incidentally, two other new titles in the same class are the shoenen [...]Mayo Chiki! Vol. 1 with more fan service and the shojo [...] Missions of Love 1: watashi ni xx shinasai! which is more intelligent. If you like any of these, check out the others.

This is as funny as they come in my opinion. If you don't like romance/comedies though you should probably look elsewhere. I'm still waiting for the second volume to show up on Amazon and the delay is leaving a tad bit concerned it didn't do well enough to warrant continuing. The transition from across the pond is largely the same as any other(no color pages though). Paper quality and size are akin to Seven Seas and I've seen far worse so it doesn't bother me. All in all a great story to add to your collection if you like the genres, if not you might want to move onto something else.

I just want to say first that there is no hentai in this book. Don't go into this expecting nipples and cum. This is a light hearted story about a guy trying to get something back that he didn't think he needed.

This is one of my faves from the get-go! The art is nice and the story-line is unusually entertaining, I even bought the original Japanese versions so I could read ahead! It's NICE being bi-lingual!

Awesome.For those who aren't looking for hentai and need something to calm there hentai urges if that have one then this is for you.

Unlike Japanese version of this manga, there is no color pages in the US version. Am I asking too much?

I can't wait for the next volume to come out. The first volume is funny and ironic. Be careful what you wish for because you can't return a wish. I hope to see more of the "iron king" in volume 2.

Very, Very rare book. The company behind it ONLY published one volume in English, which is a major bummer. Hopefully with the popularity of the show, they get their ass back in gear and churn the rest of the lot out for us English speaking folks. (私はゆっくりと学ぶ ! ) I definatly recommend this book, if you enjoy "Oreimo" or "Haganai", it's light-hearted, interesting, and you wind up getting completely sucked in. It's NOT hentai, however the Japanese books have naked breasts in them in a few scenes (In another volume, not this one). There is no "hentai" material in this at all, if you are pissed because there isn't please reference what "hentai" actually means. 馬鹿。 Short and sweet, it's a great story and I think you will enjoy it! (I wound up finding about 25 copies at a local flea market and bought them all, going to list them soon for FAIR prices! )
