Very good product
I use this for my injections daily and it helps alot. I make sure this was pushed against my skin so I feel it more than the actual injection. I can't do injections without this

Great relief for caregiver.
It’s crazy how well this worked for my neurodivergent adult daughter when she gets her daily injections!

Kids love these.
They definitely seem to work when we "tested" them at home with the controlled experiment my kids designed with a swift jab from the kids' toy doctor kit plastic syringe once with and once without the shot blocker. I nixed their next hypothesis that it would also help if they tried to jab me with a mechanical pencil, for science. So I stayed content knowing that the sensation of a plastic toy needle is different with the blocker than when it's not pressed on your skin. My kids have since used them for their flu shots and the first dose of their covid vaccines they still cried for the flu shot, but I didn't have to hold them still, and then they immediately agreed that it did actually help. They really liked that that were doing something to mitigate the pain instead of just being held down against their will. For the covid shots 4 weeks later, they were excited to bring them again and even took the responsibility of making sure they were packed in my persevere. Mine were the only 2 kids out of 7 at the clinic that didn't cry, BUT they did balk and go rigid & try to get away from the chair for a moment when the pharmacist first said his boss doesn't like him to use them because they can make blood shoot across the room when the needle is injected (? Plausible, I guess?), but when I pulled out just a little momma bear and assured him that our pediatrician OK'd them and that they'd successfully used them for shots at the pediatrician's without any spurting of blood he relented and let me hold them on the kids' arms. They took the shots like champs and didn't whimper, tear up, or anything. Even reported the next morning that peeling off the bandaids from their arms hurt more than actually getting the shot. TL;DR: they do have some effect on the sensations around the shot blocker, but it's unclear whether the actual pain reduction or the feeling of some control over the situation is what makes my kids like them. Either way, 10/10 recommend for kids who are strong willed and shot-averse.

A must for kids
Used it for the first time on our 11 year old who hates shots. She didn’t even flinch when using this. Yes, worth the purchase. Very easy to use.

It kinda works?
I have to give myself weekly injections, and I usually use an ice pack to numb the area first because I am a wimp. I was going to be doing some travelling, and would need to give myself said injections while on the road, and I had no idea if I would have ice available. Enter the ShotBlocker. I picked these up to try as an alternative to numbing with ice. They kinda helped? While I could definitely feel the injection more than I could when it I used ice, it did also make it at least somewhat better than using nothing at all. Not going to lie, I had higher hopes for this. Perhaps it is where I used it at (upper thigh) vs using it on an arm or something, but... yeah. It works, kinda. Not as well as I had hoped. 3 stars.

Does the trick
Son hates shots. Friends swear by these for their kids. Anything to distract my son while getting a shot. Not sure if this actually eases physical discomfort or if it is metal...but it seems to do the trick.

Mine did not arrived but a friend gave me one to test
A friend gave me one to test, and let me tell you—HUGE DIFFERENCE! My 2-year-old son always cries and screams during his shots, which breaks my heart. So I gave this a try for his last shot, and he DID NOT CRY! Not even a little. I was in shock. I gave it 5 stars because the product is amazing, even though my order never arrived. Thankfully, they refunded me without any issues. I’m currently traveling, but when I get back, I’ll definitely buy it again. Hopefully, it arrives this time because I’ll be using it for all his shots. This mama is so happy!
