. Review: Nice collection of hits - Enjoy this CD. Fans will recognize the songs not always the song writer. I watched a documentary about him and wanted to hear more! Died too young Review: Gone too Young - Harry Nielson had an extraordinary voice and would have been a major star but he adamantly refused to tour. He was a good friend of John Lennon and at one point in his career was considered for inclusion in both the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Born with a heart defect, he died in his early 50’s not long after the assasination of Lennon.

Great album
The remastering on this particular issue of Essential Harry Nilsson is excellent and crisp. All the songs and hits you know- and others that wished you had discovered years ago. Great anthology of his best work. Worth the money for anyone who wants to go beyond the simple 1 disc collection. This is it.
