Solid feel and well made, with a few flaws
This is a rear-wheel drive scooter, and because all of the weight seems to be found toward the back of the scooter, it makes it a bit more awkward to lift and carry when i fold it and need to carry it somewhere. This feels like a well-built scooter. Every time I hit a bump or a large crack in the street, the scooter takes the shock in stride. It has a solid feel to it. The headlamp is okay, but it could be a bit brighter. Also, the way that the headlamp is mounted makes it impossible to aim straight forward, instead the light is always pointing down in front of the scooter. There are LED light on each side of the platform that illuminate it both day and night. I haven't found a way to turn them off - they're always on. You can turn the headlamp off and on, but the side lights stay on whenever the power is on. Also, there is NO rear light. Other scooters seem to come equipped with a red rear light or tail light or maybe a brake light. There are two modes available for operation: ECO mode and Pedestrian mode. ECO is the normal operating mode, but Pedestrian mode is supposed to max out at 3mph. In the few times that I've tried to use Pedestrian mode, it has been worthless. Unless you are going downhill or on a perfectly smooth flat surface, the power seems inadequate to bring this scooter to anywhere near 3mph. I don't bother using Pedestrian mode anymore. The brakes are a bit of a disappointment. Yes, they work okay and they do an acceptable job of slowing down, but the brakes want to squeak again and again. I've adjusted the brakes over 10 times, and sometime when i hit a bump, the brakes will begin grinding and making noise. Then if i just keep riding, the noise goes away after 5 or 10 seconds, but it seems to return when i hit another big bump. The speed and the range seem perfectly fair and accurate. And the solid tires do make the ride a bit more bumpy, they also require less care. I never have to inflate these tires. Ever. The platform on this scooter is excellent. It is probably the longest surface scooter that i have ridden. I'm tall, so I enjoy being able to have a wider stance, and this long platform allows for that. The motor seems to provide plenty of power and speed, but at times it seems to lack enough power. It's as though the power comes and goes. But overall, it has good power and I'm very satisfied. There is a cruise control feature which is completely unnecessary. And it does get a bit annoying. If you hold the throttle for about 7 seconds at a consistent speed, the cruise control automatically kicks in. Just hit the brake, or move the throttle and the cruise control turns off, but it always seems to turn on when I don't want it on. Overall, this seems like a well-built scooter with good speed, good range, and a great platform. I'm glad that I own this Gotrax scooter.

Good scooter
This electric scooter is very nice and easy to use. I bought this for my family because everything around my neighborhood is quite spread out. The scooter was easy to assemble and looks pretty sleek while having a strong metal chassis. The ride can be a bit bumpy because the wheels don't have air in them, but it is manageable, and it moves pretty quick for something you can fold up. I love it and would highly recommend.

Great E Scooter
Christmas gifts for my 2 boys and they love them. Great scooters. Charge great. Work great. Stability on point. Speed goes up to 17 going down hill. I think value for money…definitely worth it. Kids have so much fun riding to their friends then their friends wanting to ride. Buy a helmet!!

Decent scooter for beginners.
Overall: The scooter arrived well packed. No issues with assembling. In fact it was easy to put it together even for a girl - you can easily do it. This scooter is perfect for beginners. It’s not too fast (which would make it dangerous to ride ) nor it have too much weight to it. You can easily take it everywhere, even to the subway (I am a 115lb girl and I was able to do it at no problem). Speed : It goes up 15,5 on flat road and 13,5 up the heal (just considering your weight of course) Pros: I like the fact that after you press the speed bottom and hold it for longer then 30 sec the scooter rides manually and you don’t have to press it at all the time. Even up the heal. Cons: Up the heel scooter goes 13,5 considering my weight but it was not a problem for me and I am okey with that. But you know. Battery: It’s an easy to charge. You don’t have to pull out the battery to do it. Simply plug the scooter to the wall and you are good. The wire is pretty long too. Takes up to 2-3h to fullly charge. Some days I noticed it only takes 2h. Which is great compared to my previous scooter. The battery is my favorite part to the scooter! It lasted me quite a while! Which I was happily surprised. My old scooter lasted me probatbly 1,5h no-stop riding. And this scooter beat it for sure, so I would estimated it probably lasted me 2-2,5hour. It’s a huge upgrade for me. Riding feel: I like this scooter. The brakes are sharp, although it takes some time to get used to it but I prefer sharp stops to prevent you from accidents (you will get used to it). Speed in my opinion is okey I wish it would be faster but like I said it’s ideal starter scooter for beginners to keep you safe. It’s very comfortable to ride, it’s not too tall like my previous scooter, so I would say it’s comfortable if you are medium to tall height. I am 5,6 and my husband is 6,2 both of us were happy with it. The only down side to the bike is it’s pretty bumpy (the wheels are just okey) if you are planning on riding on bad roads - you should be careful, you need to get used to it and look under the foot to watch out for wholes or stones on the road). On good bike trails I had no issues but once it comes to the roads where the car drive - it can get pretty bumpy. But overall I am happy with the scooter. It’s a good value for the money. And it’s great for the beginners. Cheers

This is actually a very high quality scooter!
Wow what can I say? I still have this scooter 6 years later and it still holds a good charge. That LG battery is amazing! This is a durable and comfortable commuter!

Bad scooter, extremely dangerous cruise control, every aspect of marketing is a lie
At 190 lbs, this thing is not a speed demon. After a few weeks of use, I can't recommend. SETUP: Very easy, but the wheels arrived deflated. You definitely need a bike pump. It doesn't come with one. The cruise control is extremely dangerous. It is controlled by holding the throttle down for a bit. The manual says it takes 10 seconds of throttle to engage CC but it is a lie. It can be activated by holding the throttle for as little as 4 seconds. It is an extremely dangerous feature. The cruise control should not be attached to the throttle. Someone will be seriously by unexpected acceleration and can be injured by this lie. The cover over the back wheel is very very flimsy, and it rattles and collides against the rear wheel as you go over bumps. It shakes and bumps against the rear wheel so badly. Every single bump is a humiliating rattle. The hook that holds the scooter when it is folded in half attaches into this flimsy cover so it usually just comes open if you try to hold it folded. Extremely low quality design. You literally cannot move it or carry it in the folded position because the attach point for the folded state is too filmsy. It just bends and comes open. One stars, because this flimsiness is unacceptable. It cannot be folded in half. I want to hold it and carry it in the folded state. Two more terrible observations. The speedometer is wrong and innacurate. It measures based off power application, not actual speed, so you can be barely cruising up hill at 2mph and it will say 15 mph. Inversely, you can be coasting down hill at 12mph and it will say 5mph. The power application is also uneven and unpredictable, barely associated with the throttle. Full throttle will result in an unpredictable power application. You can press the throttle down to max and it will suddenly jump after doing nothing. Sometimes full throttle is a weak little sputter, so you have to release the throttle and try again to get the full power application, which isn't much by the way. Finally the battery life is not as advertised. I weigh approximately 190 lbs and I mapped my route. It is 7.5 miles round trip and the battery is essentially depleted when I get home. The cruise control will kill people. The construction is shoddy. Do not buy this scooter if you value your life.

good value
It is extremely lightweight and portable making it the perfect companion, whether you are heading to the park for a spring outing or strolling along the beach. It requires a five-second press to start moving this is a brilliant design that is both safe and reliable.

I can SCOOT!!!
As a 58 year old, not particularly athletic woman, I was a little hesitant to jump on the electric scooter bandwagon. But, glad I did!!! This scooter was a perfect compromise between being lightweight enough to get it in and out of the stairs and front entryway of my apartment building (must be carried), and powerful enough to make it up the steep hills in my neighborhood. I wasn't interested in setting speed records, and the 16 mile range is plenty for me. I definitely wanted something stable enough to be easy to learn to ride. I'm happy to report that it took almost no time at all to get comfortable on this scooter! Just one ride and I pretty much had it down pat. And if I can do it, ANYONE can!! It's easy to handle in traffic as you can stay stable going as slow as 2-3 mph, and quickly jump off to stop when needed. The brakes aren't at all a problem as some reviewers have said - the disc brake is on the rear so the scooter stays perfectly stable while braking, and I can easily stop or slow gradually. I was also very pleased that the scooter is rock stable going over bumps or small holes. The cruise control feature is very nice also...otherwise your right hand will start cramping up after several minutes. Max speed, I found, is around 10-12 mph on level ground, and about 7-8 mph going up shallow hills. The scooter has no problem at all with hills on regular city streets. There is a bike path with a couple of very steep climbs, with one getting up to a 30 degree incline. I had to get off and walk the scooter once, but that was only because of traffic on the path (and only people in skintight spandex and Italian racing bikes make it up there). I think it might have made it up the hill otherwise. I have no intention of trying to ride the scooter down that hill, brakes or no brakes. The battery range was maybe a bit less than advertised - I did a 5 mile round trip that included said hills near the end, and the battery was half full when I got home. So probably closer to 10 mile range with hills, but again, that's fine with me. Couple of annoyances with the scooter (but probably generic for all scooters). First, when walking it on a sidewalk or up a hill, the back swings sideways making that really difficult unless you fold it up and roll it like a handcart. Second, I wish there was a stand or something that would let me store this upright in my front hallway. For $300, this is a pretty decent machine. If not for the hills I would have preferred a lighter weight scooter, but given that situation this is probably the best I could have done without forking over more than twice the cash.

The best commute scooter ever.
It had been a long time that I commuted with a simple bike. Finally found out a green and budget friendly alternative. This has been the most amazing purchase I've ever made. Especially if you want to commute within city. The city I live in is not on a plain, still the scooter easily goes uphill without any problems. Grocery shopping has never been so easy. A great alternative for a car for students who can't afford a car. The built quality is amazing. There are some fancy features which other scooters offer for a little more but aren't practical to be honest. All you need is a powerful motor and a good battery which this scooter has. The LG battery makes a huge difference. The depletion rate is minimum for maximum power. I've personally taken this on bike trails too and the promised range was just achieved easily. I hope it remains the same after a few months of use too. The tires are good quality, traction is good. Suspension would've been great but doesn't make a huge difference still. Hat's off the the company for make it a hardware beast for the price range. Would suggest everyone to get one, for use or just for fun. You won't regret rge purchase. It looks cool aswell.

Meilleure trotinnette sur le marché
Belle achat.

pretty solid electric scooter
The assembly may take a little bit effort but is manageable. Once setup, running the scooter is fairly easy and straight forward. Highest speed is around 9.7 mph so far, don't know to increase the speed anymore, i am 165 lbs so it is not overweight on the bike. Brake works very well!! worth money product
