Review: I've tried a few jerky seasonings in my time and this is easily the best. In a lot of supermarkets, you'll find "jerk" seasonings but they are powders and tend to lack any real punch in flavour. This Dunns River season is a wet seasoning and you can tell that they've used "real ingredients" and pounded them into what's probably a far more authentic product than your normal supermarket seasonings. Not being from Jamaica, I can't say for sure how authentic it is...but it is really nice. What I love about this jerk seasoning is that it really does pack a punch. There's quite a bit of chilli in here and you don't need to use a vast amount (although I do tend to use quite a lot because I like spicy foods). It's also fairly salty so just keep that in mind when deciding how much you want to use. In the past, I've coated chicken thighs in a generous amount of the jerk seasoning, marinaded for a good 6hrs, and smoked them in my kettle barbecue. The flavour from the wood I used really worked well with the flavours from the seasoning. Alternatively, though, just marinade for a few hours and cook in the oven.

I love this stuff. It is very spicy and strong flavoured which is to my taste. I've vegetarian so don't eat it the authentic way, with chicken. I put it on top of cheese on toast. Some people may find this weird, but I think it's delicious. I can't buy this locally, so was delighted to be able to buy this online, with such rapid delivery.

After a trip to the Caribbean my wife and I developed a taste for Jerk Chicken! We bought some sauce back with us and when it ran out we tried a number of supermarket Jerk seasoning, none of which were as nice at the local ones. Then we tried this and its really nice, the best one we have found. I will need to order more soon as its proved so popular with friends and family that I have been giving them jars of it!

What can I say, except this seasoning is the amazing one, my children love it on chicken and even if you are not able to tolerate too much scotch bonnet heat (Me!), I find it very addictive and yummy! Hence buying 6 pack!!!!! Tried others, they do not compare!

The description says medium hot, but it really is very hot for me. So next time I'll be looking for a mild marinade.
