I’m not sure why other reviewers where having such a hard time with understanding the instructions and carrying them out on the installation of this cover. Maybe a basic understanding of sewing would have helped them, but I don’t know. All I know is that it was super simple to follow the instructions. I watched about a minute of a video online to make sure I was understanding the instructions correctly, then I got started. Had it done in just under an hour and it looks great!! The hardest part was adjusting as you work around the different angles of the wheel where it’s harder to see the stitching behind the wheel. Still, not a big deal. Also, I definitely agree with the other reviews (and the instructions) that you have to keep your thread and stitches tight. Do that, and this is just about as close to a fool-proof installation as you can get. Love the product, love the quality of the leather, and love the look of the finished product! I’d absolutely buy this wheel cover again. Thanks!

good quality product will give a better look to your steering wheel

looks awesome, feels better than anything I've ever felt before steering wheel wise. I highly recommend. The only downside is that it is just an absolute pain in the arse to hand sew. Stabbed myself more times than I can count but its better than a walmart cover any day of the week..

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado and the steering wheel was looking pretty sad. I was going to buy a cheap cover that was quick to throw on and go about my day when I seen this on Amazon. I gave it a try and this is what I found.I ordered a L4 and it fit nice and snug. I put it on the first time and had a rather large area around the steering wheel controls that had folded over but in the end that was my fault as I didn't adjust and run the thread on properly. The top half of the steering wheel seemed to be to extra wide causing the area where I was threading to bunch up and caused a ridge to protrude and felt odd when driving down the road. Being that they give 2 sets of threads, a few days later I cut the original threads off and preceded to re due my work. Before I started to re stitch I marked the area of the cover that had made a ridge and slightly trimmed off some excess material on both sides. I made sure as I was stitching the cover back on to keep the threads tight especially around the steering wheel controls. By trimming the excess material off the second time it came out like a champ. Looks great. Looks like it did when bought new. The steering wheel grip is a little thicker but I have no issue with that. Feels even better now!Well worth the purchase and the time to do it. Plenty of YouTube videos out there showing the process of attaching to your steering wheel.

I looked around for a leather cover for my 2005 Nissan Armada and didn’t want to spend upwards of $70 for a cover that may not look good when finished. The Belinous cover is reasonable priced and leather so I ordered it. Once it arrived I was impressed by the quality of the leather, three loops of waxed thread and three blunt tip needles. The challenge for me was how to make the three spokes of the steering wheel look good and lay flat. I chose to locate the seam at the 6 o’clock position and to use the baseball stitch to bring the ends together. The installation of the steering wheel cover took me a little over 3 hours to complete. There are instructions in the package and links to videos to review before you start. I highly recommend watching a couple to better understand the process. Be careful not to put a lot of pressure on the eye of the needle as I broke two of the three needles. To ensure the cover lays flat over the steering wheel spokes, I found putting a stitch up into the spoke, on either side and tying a knot, kept it flat. Refer to the second image for clarification. One loop of thread did 3/4 quarters of the steering wheel, so you have plenty of thread to do the job. The Nissan wheel is 15 1/2 x 4 as a reference. The only other tools I used was a hook to pull tension on the strings and a pair of needle nose pliers. Good luck!

This did fit over my steering wheel despite some larger areas in my steering wheel with a slightly larger circumference. In the larger areas it didn't stitch all the way but did fit and hold tight when completed. I would recommend watching the videos on Youtube so you have something to go by. It took me approximately 1 hour per half steering wheel totally 2 hour installation. It's not easy, but it's well worth it. Make sure before you order to measure you steering wheel end to end, then circumference by placing a string around the steering well at the smallest area and then getting that measurement and placing it on a ruler, most of the steering wheels are 4 1/4" circumference. Once completed you will be totally happy.Have fun!

Hate my hard plastic steering wheel but it's slightly smaller than standard so most covers are too loose. Didn't realize wrapping it myself would be so easy. Girl scout level activity.This looks and feels way better than a cover. Excellent quality product. Quick responsive customer service - needed to ask what size since I'm between sizes.

Already bought 2. It takes some time to install but the end product is awesome.

Hubby wanted this cause his steering wheel was looking worn. It takes lots of patience/time to attach it, but he says it worth it!
