Yes. Our WF150K whole house water filter does not reduce hardness. We recommend installing a water softener, such as the iSpring WCS45KG model, before this system if your TDS level is above 300 ppm.

Can this system handle water with high iron levels?

No, this system is not designed for that purpose. For iron issues, we suggest considering iSpring's WGB32B-MKS model (for iron levels under 3 ppm) and the WCFM500K whole house water filtration system (for iron levels between 3 ppm and 12 ppm).

Is this system suitable for addressing long-term hydrogen sulfide issues?

No, this system is not designed for that purpose. For long-term hydrogen sulfide problems, we suggest considering iSpring WCFM500K or WCFM550K whole house water filtration system instead.

Can I install this system outdoors?

We recommend indoor installation in a well-ventilated area, shielded from elements and direct sunlight. Consider water leakage protection. Outdoor installation requires insulation for frost, sun, and waterproofing for both unit and pipes.
