Excellent Upgrade — Fast, Reliable, and Worth Every Penny
Excellent Upgrade — Fast, Reliable, and Worth Every Penny I picked up the A‑Tech 16GB DDR4 2133 MHz UDIMM (PC4‑17000), and it has been a fantastic upgrade. Installation was quick and effortless, and my system recognized the memory immediately with zero issues. The performance boost was noticeable right away — smoother multitasking, faster load times, and overall better responsiveness. A‑Tech’s build quality feels solid and dependable, and the module has been running cool and stable since day one. For anyone looking to breathe new life into an older desktop or simply expand their RAM without breaking the bank, this is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended for reliability, value, and performance.

Worked really well for my Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard
I had a previous purchase of this module which were seeing weird behavior with my existing modules on my Asus X99 Deluxe chipset + Core i7-5820k and it turns out it's because the existing corsair modules were single-sided (single-ranked) and these modules were double-sided (double-ranked). So about a year later (last week) I bought new double-ranked modules to replace the previous existing modules and it worked like a charm. PAY ATTENTION!! The description doesn't tell anywhere whether the modules you're getting are single-ranked or double-ranked, but it turns out the picture of the module (the packing label) on the product images above will say "2Rx8" if they're double-sided (double-ranked) - don't confuse that with the number of memory modules, this "2Rx8" is literally the number of chips on each side of each module. If you can't find that in the product picture then you're likely buying a single-sided module, which is totally fine, but several MOBOs might only work well when all modules are of the same rank (that was my case). Specifically for my Asus x99 Deluxe MOBO, the board didn't care that the modules I bought a year ago were 2 x 8GB (16GB total, also 2Rx8), but the new modules last week were 2x16GB (32GB total, also 2Rx8). It was able to add it up to 40GB in quad-channel mode, although the board manual states the upper 8GB of the 16GB modules will be read as dual-channel rather than quad-channel since the older modules only have 8GB each. For practical purposes however, that made absolutely no difference. If you happen to not see all the RAM whenever these strange combinations happen, please check your MOBO manual as they'll explain the order the modules are to be installed. I will be buying another 32GB (2x16GB) dual-rank modules (2Rx8) again from them in the next month or so.

A-Tech 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2133 MHz
This is very good Ram and one of my other working computers has 32 GB of A-Tech DDR4. These 2 modules are spares in case they're needed. It's better to have them in matched sets if at all possible. These were less $ than I thought they would be so color me happy.

Upgrade for a Dell XPS 8900 bought 2017
I bought a Dell XPS 8900 PC back in 2017. On the Boot Menu (press and preferably hold F2 when you turn the PC on) I found out the memory specs: Memory Installed: 16384 MB [or 16 GB] Speed: 2133 MHz Channel Mode: Dual Technology: DDR4 SDRAM DIMM 1 Size: 8192 MB [or 8 GB] DIMM 2 Size: 8192 MB [or 8 GB] DIMM 3 Size: Empty DIMM 4 Size: Empty So I bought two A-Tech 8GB DDR4 2133MHz DIMM PC4-17000 UDIMM Non-ECC 1.2V CL15 288-Pin Desktop Computer RAM Memory Upgrade Modules. Installation was a breeze and they worked. The PC recognized them readily. I was worried by the "UDIMM" term, but on a cursory lookup on Google, it seems that DIMM and UDIMM are the same thing (unregistered memory). I was also worried by the "PC4-17000" term, so I looked it up and found it refers to the DDR4 speed. DDR4 Speeds: PC4-21300 (2666MHz) - PC4-22400 (2800MHz) - PC4-19200 (2400MHz) - PC4-24000 (3000MHz) PC4-17000 (2133MHz) - PC4-25600 (3200MHz) - PC4-26400 (3300MHz) Bottom line, if your PC is a Dell XPS 8900 with 16 GB RAM, chances are this item is what you need to fill'er up to 32 GB (2 x 8GB memory modules).

Works, can't ask for more.
When upgrading from 32gb to 64 gb ram I had purchased another brand that offered a "guarantee" to work when running their software that tells you what to buy. Didn't work. This did. With no fiddling around or other issues. Put into place and off and running. I started with one set of two (2x16) in order to minimize returns if this didn't work. So now I'm ordering a second set to max out my machine. It's not the newest or fastest but if you have a 4-5 year old machine that needs some TLC and this matches the speed of your old ram, it's worth trying! I've always bought the "big" brand but no regrets here. Will update if something goes wrong. Edited to add: Received the second set and was able to install and get it up and running but had to tweak a setting in the bios. After that no other problems so far. Added to a new SSD drive and my older computer (Dell XPS 8900) now has new life and can handle Photoshop and Premiere much more snappily.
