canFly Disposable K-CUP Paper filter for Keurig single cup coffer filters compatible with Ekobrew, EZ-Cup and other Reusable K-CUP Filters (300 Count)

This is my overall favorite filter. I’ve tried several different brands at this point and can while there are some other good filters on the market, for me, this one tops the others. Simple reason, it is oversized with the wings or top edges that hang over the top of the pod. Makes all the difference!!! When I started wanting to make my own pods for my Keurig rather than buying the prepackaged ones (more expensive) I quickly found out why the prepackaged pods are so popular. Very easy cleanup, but I still prefer the taste of freshly ground beans and packing the pod with various types of coffee and a little more than what comes in the standard pod. However the coffee tended to always have grinds and a lot of residue at the bottom of the cup. Simple, buy a filter. I quickly discovered that all filters are not equal. I’ve found that the key things for me are the flaps that hang over the top edge and the thickness of the filter. This filter gets A+ on both of these. The oversized flaps allow me to really fill the pod to the top and still not get grinds in my cup. They also make it super easy to clean up afterwards by grabbing the edge to pull out the soggy filter. The thickness is just right as well and allows for great flavor without any tears (especially nice when you are cleaning up. These fit my Keurig unit perfectly. The filters remove the excess residue that was always in the bottom of my coffee cup and make cleanup virtually nothing. The only thing I do now is rinse the lid. Needless to say I love these filters!!!!! If you have a Keurig and use the pod unit for your own coffee (rather than prepackaged Kpods, then you should buy these now. You will not regret it. It’s worth buying so you don't have to use the plastic throw away kurig cups. These are environmentally friendly. Fits perfectly in the kurig filter holder then toss or put in compost.

These filter your coffee well. I use these with an all metal k cup pod. It’s great for reusability, but metal mesh filters don’t properly filter out cafestol and kahweol which can increase bad cholesterol levels over time. However, paper filters safely remove all of that and make cleanup easier. One thing I really like about these is that the paper edges of each filter are slightly angled downwards which surprisingly makes it much easier to grab a single filter off the stack when compared to the straight-edged versions I’ve used in the past. That’s really good design. The grounds stay in the filter when you are done. Just open the pod and dump the filter and grounds right into the trash. I’ve not had the filters rip or fall apart before or after use. These filters should be compatible with any reusable Keurig pod. These filters are deep enough for the appropriate amount of grounds, but aren’t too big for any of the reusable pods I’ve tried.

When my father-in-law brought some over I thought he was being extra, but they were a total game changer. Cleaning the re-usable k-cups has never been easier and the coffee tastes better. Can’t recommend them enough!

Before I begin this review, I'd like to let everyone know the equipment I have that makes my everyday cup of coffee to help those that may have my exact setup at home. I have a Keurig K-Cafe machine as my drip brewer, a Baratza Encore as my bean grinder, and a Keurig Universal Reusable Coffee Filter. Before using any paper filter, my cups of coffee were filled with sludge and sentiment at the bottom of my cup. My routine consists of filling the cup to the first line at the bottom of the reusable filter with my favorite beans, pouring them into the grinder, pouring the roast back into the filter, and begin an 8oz brew. My first test run, I found out that this paper filter does not fit my Keurig Universal Reusable Coffee Filter. I had to force it all the way into my coffee filter before pouring my grinds. When I poured it in, it overflowed to the top of my reusable filter, despite me only grinding the usual amount of beans I used to grind before I began trying this paper filter. Nevertheless, I closed the lid and began brewing a latte for my wife and proceeded to prepare it in her clear glass mug. Unfortunately, I found sentiment resting the bottom of the cup. I asked for her opinion on any change of flavor and said it tastes just like before using this paper filter. Cleanup was okay... Better than rinsing out leftover grinds in the coffee filter. Did not notice any tears or holes in the paper filter before disposal. Second test: My cup of coffee. Same procedure as before, still pouring grinds over and it fills to the top brim. The flavor, compared to pre-paper filter, was a bit lighter and clearer. Near the end of drinking my cup, I noticed a bit of sentiment just like my wife's latte. I believe the sentiment in both of our cups could be due to our usual size of roast filling my Keurig reusable filter to the brim since the paper cup takes up too much space and some roast going behind the paper filter, if that makes sense. This could be alleviated if the paper filter actually fitted my reusable coffee filter to begin with and not involve me forcing it in. Overall, I would not purchase this again and would rather seek a paper filter that fits my Keurig Universal Reusable Coffee Filter. During these two tests, I did not experience what others have reported of the paper filter breaking. One user suggested letting it cool down before disposal and this helped me take it out with ease.

This is the perfect winner for the reusable K pods. Not only easy to use and dispose of in the recycle, but it improves the feel and the taste of the coffee. No more settlement in the bottom of your cup! Will be a staple item for us
