My daughter really loves this series of books and reads them every night.

Some actually well written young reader books! I read these to my 4-6 year old kids and it was fine and even occasionally enjoyable to read as an adult.

My 5-year-old son really loves these books and glad I found the set for cheaper than the individuals. Ordered April 24, shipping was originally set for May 2-7, but we got it April 29th. Happy with the purchase and the early delivery! The review asks for the difficulty level/age, I will say it is easy for him to read, but he also reads at a 3rd grade level as a kindergartener. So if you want to get them into the story line early, there would probably need more intervention from the parents to read to the child if they are on the younger side. Great books!

My 7-year old grandson is an avid reader who enjoys spooky stories. He often reads to me. He just completed reading the first of the ten books and really enjoyed it. The story line is just “eerie” enough for his age group. He is fascinated by the artwork on EVERY page. The pictures complement the verbiage nicely.

My son struggles to complete reading time, and these books were a lifesaver. Chapter books with manageable length chapters that he can read a few in a sitting and feel accomplished, with pictures on each page to keep him interested. He loves to recount them for me, which is great since it helps him build his comprehension skills.
