Arrived early and practically new! Great book for intermediate students that have studied the philosophy and history and are ready to put it all together. Concise and applicable descriptions of timing techniques.

I just finished my second read of this book. As a student of ancient and traditional astrology I found this work to be very helpful. It takes the reader on a step by step process of chart delineation using primarily Hellenistic and also some modern methods. The main focus is on an understanding of the natal chart and forecasting the future using profections, progressions, solar return and transits.This is a rich book that provides a full understanding of astrological logic and divination. This text can also serve as an excellent companion to understanding and using classical texts.

If you already saw the benefits of traditional astrology, you might find this book a very neat clean and systematic approach for analyzing a chart. This is not a beginner book and you should have good knowledge of the zodiac and astrological techniques first. But this book will help you to design your own counselling session very effectively. I wish Demetra writes some more about the type of clients and type of counsellors in the future too. One of my all time favourite books and I highly recommend it.

As a beginning astrologer, this is a must have primer, I learned so much and can see myself returning to it many times for reference in the future!

This is the book I wish I had found years ago. If you are a beginner with a serious interest in traditional astrology, or a modern psychological astrologer looking for something a bit more technical and objective in the way of traditional astrology, this is it. As of 2016 there are very few books easy-reading books out there that really put traditional astrology into a practical, digestible usable context. Don't get me wrong, the works of Dr Dykes are amazing, but like current the Valens and Firmicus translations, just not the easiest to read. That part doesn't really bother me so much as the lack of linear teaching style one finds in this book. Unlike Burk, this is real-deal traditional astrology. Powerful techniques. Great teacher. Great writer. Masterful work.

Demetra, de forma simples e didática consegue fundir astrologia tradicional e moderna e ainda insere a interpretação dos asteroides. Ela utiliza o sistema de casas de signos inteiros, da astrologia helenística, e que tem conquistado muitos astrólogos modernos, inclusive eu. Virou meu livro de cabeceira. Quanto a compra, como sempre, a Amazon entrega antes do prazo, muito bemembalado e sem problemas.

Someone at the r/astrology subreddit recommended this book for me, in order to deepen my understanding on how to interpret and delineate a chart. Indeed, it's a great guide on how to interpret a natal chart and prepare a hour long consultation. It assumes you have grasped the basic (a not so basic) concepts of astrology and dives into exploring the realm of the astrologer as a counselor.

A book that anybody can enjoy, beginers intermediate and advance will benefit. Traditional overtone covering everything needed for accurate and informative chart delianation.
