Works perfect
I had to replace trackpad on my 2013 Macbook pro, so decided to replace battery while I was at it. With the aid of a youtube tutorial was able to do very easily. The battery even came with the tools needed (two mini screwdrivers) that were better quality then the took kit I had. Once installed the battery charged up quickly and lasts a long time. Very well worth the money!

Defective
I bought this battery and it was dead on arrival. I was replacing the battery in my early 2015 13 inch MacBook pro and decided on this brand. I removed the old swollen battery and replaced it with this on only to find out that it's not functional. The battery wouldn't charge and the MacBook wouldn't run on battery power. I removed it and put the old battery back in and everything functioned as it should again. I'll try a different brand next time.

Good Value for the Money
This was my first time installing a battery for my MacBook. It would have been helpful that instructions with precautions, glue removal and a couple of necessary battery removal tools for the old battery be included with my battery purchase as I did not realize these were needed. Overall the price and quality were good. I would buy from this seller again.

Works perfect
If your Mac Pro battery is failing thins is the best deal, sure as hell better than paying Apple for their battery and labor. Apple integrates their batteries into their system processing so if failing your forced to replace. Can't run charger only or Mac runs in gimped mode. This was easy to install. The hard part is removing the Apple packs especially mine that swelled up and that sticky ad f' glue they use.

Tools didn't work for me, but battery works perfectly in a MBP Retina (model A1502)
Since Apple stores are closed and I had the old bloated MBP battery situation, I decided on this battery set. Now, the included tools were the wrong size for the A1502. For a Late 2013 MBP (retina model A1502), you'll need a P5 Pentalobe screwdriver (found easily on Amazon for a few bucks). Battery installed easily, and after calibration, works perfectly too. Solid buy if your Macbook looks like it needs Jenny Craig...

old new stock?
This battery arrived packaged nicely with extra plastic guides stuck to it to keep the cells from flopping around during installation. Direct replacement was easy to install with only challenge being removal of the original battery due to adhesive used by apple. Many recommendation on the internet for removing the old battery including glue solvents and using some kind of string to cut the adhesive between the battery. Use caution with any removal technique to avoid injury from damaging the outside of the old battery cells. Battery came with about 70% charge on it. Followed calibration instructions and battery seems to be working well. Original Apple design capacity was 6559 mAh (6.559 Ah) and new battery reports bigger at 6984 mAh (6.984 Ah) so I expect this battery to last at least as long as an original one would. The battery also reported a Cycle Count of 2 on arrival. All good. Only note I would add is that the battery I received reports a manufacture date of 2011-01-03 (see attached screen shot from CoconutBattery utility). That's 10 years old and 2 years before the first model MacBook these batteries fit in. Another reviewer showed a screen shot reporting a manufacture date of 2020 for the battery they received. I don't know if the inventory includes a mix of old and new stock and what you receive is the luck of the draw? The battery I received appears to be working fine regardless of the old manufacturing date. I guess I won't really know if the age of the battery makes any difference until I've had it in the laptop for a while. When I posted a few questions about this, the seller responded "The battery is new and we provide 12 months warranty." All looks good so far. Only reason for my rating not being higher is concern about the unknown impact the age of the battery might have on how long it will last. Hope this helps somebody with their buying decision.

Awesome
Had never even thought about attempting to replace the battery on my macbook pro, especially when they tell you at Apple that the battery is built in and the whole bottom part of laptop is replaced when changing the battery. Very impressed with this kit that arrived. Great packaging and all tools included. Watched a step by step video online and voila! Floss or fishing line works great removing old battery glue.
