I DO NOT recommend exceeding the prescribed weight limits for the OneGrill setup
I ordered this rotisserie for my mother's birthday to roast a pig (lechon). We ordered a 35 lb pig but ended up being delivered a 65lb pig. Needless to say, I was very worried the motor would not handle it. It took some very careful and diligent work to get the weight distributed properly, but the motor did work and it worked for the entire cooking process of 8 hrs. I DO NOT recommend exceeding the prescribed weight limits for the OneGrill setup...but I am happy to say that it did work for me and my mother's birthday was a success. I am very confident that my next pig roast (with a 25-35 lb pig) will be a success and the motor will handle it with ease. No matter the size of the pig...the key to success is making sure the pig is evenly distributed across the pole and secured properly. If you do that, you will have no problems. I give this product a definite thumbs up because if that motor would have failed, I would have been hand turning a pig for 8 hrs. Oh, as far as the overall setup...it was very easy to figure out and everything was very sturdy. The cross-beam pole for the pig had some sag due to the heavy pig but I doubt it will sag at all with a smaller pig. The forks for securing the pig and the motor mount were all easy to use and setup and worked like a charm. It's a great product and I was very, very pleased with it.

Solid and super flexible
This let me rotisserie two chickens over charcoal on a wide flat rock in the yard. The stakes are heavy duty, and the mounting hardware worked perfectly. Adjusting the height of the spit with two chickens on it was easy. I also have their rotisserie setup for a Weber grill and that works perfectly too. Best rotisserie gear I’ve ever owned.

Very pleased, it meets my needs.
Very solid, motor ran smooth but I was only spinning a 10 lb roast. I wish they would include some kind of heat shield for the motor, for now I just use a piece of aluminum foil wrapped around it. Has good width and height to fit on the outside of my 6ft fire ring.

One Grill Get it together!!!
I bought this expecting it to withstand a 30 pound pig. The motor burned out in less then two hours, the slide mounts shifted every time it heated up l, we had to put logs under the skirts and rotate it by hand. Also the specs on this whole set up are inconsistent. I do not like to give crap reviews because I know what it takes to manufacture anything for mass sale. I highly recommend not buying this unit and I’m disappointed I have to waste my hard earned money on a piece of equipment that should’ve with stood time for repeated use. One Grill get your crap together and fulfill your word as a company.

Great Product for our party!
My son had a renaissance wedding that we held in our back yard. I purchased this back in 2018 to do a small pig (45#) on for our 150 guests. The pig on the spit added to the ambiance of the theme and worked amazingly. I have since used it to do several chickens a time and some roasts. It is not an "everyday" kitchen item but it is great to have and has never let me down.

It was easy to set up and looked very sturdy
My husband loves to cook. Buying this is s big step up on his game. The idea of roasting a whole pig seemed to be a challenge at first, but this grill really did its purpose very well. It was easy to set up and looked very sturdy. After 5 hours of roasting, the pig (or lechon) was cooked really good. It was a lot of work but it did save us $150 from buying a lechon from a restaurant. This is great for parties or any gathering if you want to save money. We're very happy with it!

A cool gadget to have around.
Well There is nothing bad about this product at all. I wanted to try a pig roast for the first time ever that’s why I bought this. The only thing is you have to have a lot of time. I cooked two 5lb chickens just to test it out, and it took me 4 1/2 hours to cook over open fire it still wasn’t cooked and it was really late so I just had to stop. For thanksgiving I roasted a 25 lb pig over open fire and it took me 8 hours to cook it. Now I have to factor in the cold weather too it was really cold on both these occasions when I used the roaster. I’m still happy I bought it can’t wait to try it again when the weather warms up.

Ok for price, but bring vice grips!
I bought this to use camping. I loaded it according to the manufacturers instruction, however the brackets did not support the weights it claimed. Not even 15 pounds... it was quite balanced. It took a great deal of rigging to get it to work. The motor worked well, the spit rod was fine as was the prongs... but the clips are flimsy as hell. I guess you get what you pay for, but don’t expect it to hold any real weight right out of the box. Bring a few vice grips...
