This vitamin works very well for adhd. It has improved my sleep, memory and focus. I will continue to use.

I ordered this supplement for a mental boost during exam preparation and taking my final exams. I’m a grad student with ADHD and some of my exams can be up to 6 hours long so I really wanted something that would help with my focus, mental endurance, and motivation. Additionally, prescribed stimulants can make me anxious and crash later in the day and I’ve read that l-tyrosine is helpful in alleviating these side effects. I have to say I think this really helped. I did a lot of research and found so many recommendations for l-tyrosine. It helps the body produce dopamine. I’ve used this brand for other supplements before and have had a great experience with it. I followed the directions and took it between meals 2-3x per day. I must admit that did take some other supplements as well, so I will update this review as I isolate this supplement to see if it’s still helping. Definitely recommend giving it a try. But absolutely do your research and be wary of taking anything long-term. Supplements aren’t regulated to the same extent as medications. There’s great information on NIH studies and Reddit pages so I recommend starting there. Everyone’s body/chemistry is different and we react to things differently so try not to have expectations and just see how your body responds. Be especially cautious if you have thyroid issues. I am no doctor but this is just coming from information I’ve read.

Still feeling it out but I do get a little bit of alertness

I’m 45 years old and have been going through perimenopause and it has caused absolutely no energy at all! It has been a 4 year struggle for me. This supplement has been an absolute game changer. I take 2 as soon as I wake up and I am telling you it is like night and day! My mood is better and my natural energy is way up. If you are struggling like I was then YOU MUST BUY AND TAKE EVERY DAY!

OK, so here's the deal: Everyone is different and I highly suggest starting slowly. I have a teen who was having a lot of trouble concentrating on schoolwork. One pill was not enough, but two did the trick. If you have a child with ADD, read Dr. Amen's book on the 7 types of ADHD. It will give you an idea of dosing. Some people can take quite a bit of this stuff multiple times a day. Just don't start that way! I recently took it for about 6 days, and LOVED the focus and energy it gave me. Then one night I went to bed, and just felt wound up and happy. I could not sleep, so ended up taking a sleep aid. I'm taking a break, and plan to take half a pill or so. I think this is a high dose for some people. Just be aware that it can increase thyroid function, so if your is already too high you need to skip this. Do a little research so you understand more about this product.

For me this product didn't do much benefit, It makes me sleepy, nappy after that very very very hungry. I like Now Foods a lot, this product is not going well with my body!!
