Super helpful for learning about astrology/baby witches. Love how big it is - more textbook size. I can see the pictures better in order to really understand the material. This could also be a great coffee table book.

This book is a total win and one of the most detailed astrology guides I’ve come across. It’s packed with real, practical information — not just surface-level stuff. It’s one of the few books I keep on my main shelf to reference regularly. Whether you’re just starting out or going deeper into your practice, this guide is clear, informative, and beautifully organized. A true staple for any astrology lover.

this is a great reference book that explains everything in rather good detail. it is a large book so there's alot there to read, study & get my geek on with. it's a cloth-bound hardcover with great graphics so it can sit on various tables in my home to entice the unsuspecting astro unaware into conversations of astounding astro-geekery! the downside is that the printing is done in a magazine column style which makes it harder to read because i kept losing my place & had to read rather slowly in order to not lose my place. & the print isn't easy on the eyes. it is a great reference book to have on hand. i'm pleased to add this to my ever-growing mystical library.

Like an encyclopedia. Every piece of information you could want along with pictures. It's very heavy, but who cares with all the info. The only downside which really isn't a downer so to speak, is small lettering like your typical encyclopedia. All in all, it's a beautiful book that will last a lifetime.

Amazon is replacing the book so I’m not worried about that, but do flip through yours. As for the content itself, I am blown away. I’ve been trying to learn what I can on the internet and finally I got frustrated enough to try a textbook and holy wow!! This is the knowledge drop I was looking for. I am especially excited about the extensive reference index which goes into each planet - for every sign, house, and aspect, plus modes of the moon and Chiron too!! There are ephemeris tables, sidereal corrections, and extensive instructions for charting a birth or other significant date, and much much more, all laid out beautifully on nice thick paper with legible type. Well worth the price!! I am delighted, and I think you will be too.

My first astrology text book and it's HUGE! So much information, but unfortunately, I'm beginner in astrology, so I will need another book for terms like "transits" and "progressions" to lay down the foundation and come back to this when I'm more versed in more advanced topics. This book is great for intermediate/advanced astrology students, may be overwhelming for beginners.

I have been in search of a book to help me understand how to create my own natal chart, and interpret it on my own without having to use a website constantly. I have been doing my own research on astrology for the past 8 years, and this book is very unique. It contains a lot of in depth information that a lot of popular astrology books lack. It includes a lot of specific information and gets down to the "nitty gritty".

This book is fantastic! I am glad I took the risk to purchase it. Not only is it beautiful it’s laid out wonderfully. It has everything you need to start reading your birth chart. There was templates to photocopy of blank charts and you can use the end of the book to start charting your birth chart. It has pictures, good explanations. Something to note : Parker’s focuses on whole house system which I think is better for beginners. I’m impressed.

J'adore cette nouvelle édition de Parker's Astrology : l'ouvrage est imposant (près de 500 pages) avec une maquette superbe (en couleur) et des tonnes et tonnes d'infos pour toute personnes intéressées par l'astrologie : aspect, maison, transit... Il y a même des éphémérides ! Un must si vous maitrisez l'anglais !

Well.. first off this book is a little dirty when I received it. Apart from that, this book provides a lot of information from the signs to houses to planets to tranits to progressed. However, these informations are pretty surface level it will be a great book for beginners starting out for astrology. Not to mention the authors included their professional tips here and there. For birthchart interpretation & progressed, it is a little surface. For intermediate to advanced it could be a great book for referring to if you need certain information or just a quick recap. overall, great book & worth the purchase!
