## Description

It's Christmas Eve and Max is determined to wait up for Santa. "No, Max," says his big sister, Ruby. "Nobody ever sees Santa Claus." But Max tiptoes downstairs, where he hopes to meet a very special visitor.

Review: Why? Because!! - He's back! The ultimate toddler with his eternal "Why?", Max isn't sure he agrees with all the rules of Christmas Eve--like, why can't he see Santa? And the ultimate bossy big sister tries to tell him (even though she really doesn't know herself). The result is an encounter that winds up exasperating Santa into the final answer: "Why?" "BECAUSE!" Perfect for Christmas story time!
Review: Love! - My first graders and I LOVE this book. It is cute and funny. It is also a good book to teach question words since Max asks a question every other sentence. :-)
