Sho's B-6 Kun, Compact Hibachi Grill, 3 Piece Set

I love this thing, it’s so small yet so solid and functional. Let me first say that I really only bought it on a whim, as I love the anime “Laid Back Camp”, which where I first say it used. I wasn’t expecting it to be so cute and yet so functional. For the small space it takes up it is perfect for 1-2 people camping. The pieces are all metal, and the top grill part is particularly heavy and heavy duty to absorb heat. The grill body is made of lighter stainless steel sheets that are folded and slide into interlocking channels to safely and securely finish the fire box bottom. The fire box is small and you can use charcoal, esbit solid fuel, alcohol stoves, or just combustibles (twigs, branches, leaves and pinecones). I also love that it comes with its own little plastic case that perfectly fits all the parts once cooled and folded back into a flat, compact rectangle. The one drawback is that the grill is a fixed height, so there is no adjustment if you have too strong a fire. This is the small size, but apparently there are two other sizes or models. One of them would be perfect for sake lovers, as it comes with a built in sake warmer. Perfect for those cold nights. But this one is enough for me. And if you haven’t already watched the anime, “Laid Back Camp” or Yuru Camp in Japanese, and watch this grill in action.

Fans of a certain manga/anime will immediately recognize this thing. It's a mini metal offering box. NO! It's a combination grill and campfire rocket stove that can fold down to the size of a small, very heavy, book. It's made from stainless steel, so this weighs just over a pound (500 grams). It's definitely heavier than the titanium backpacking stoves on the market, so that's something to keep in mind if you are a backpacker when every gram counts. If you have a vehicle, this can come along, no problem at all. The package came from Osaka, which is both cool and a little bit of a welcome surprise because of the flood of Chinese sellers on Amazon that made buying quality products a real challenge lately. The text on the package seal read, "開封厳禁" which translated means, "Do not break the seal", which I just found hilarious. It probably says that to keep retail clerks and warehouse workers from accidentally opening the package. You'd think a collapsible piece of camp gear would feel flimsy, but in this case you'd be wrong, this thing feels like a tank for its size. Assembly took a couple of minutes, you unfold the legs and short sides, slide in the long slides, insert the fuel grate pieces, and top it off with the grill grate if you're grilling, or the stabilizer pieces if you're using it as a rocket stove. I haven't used it yet, but from what I've learned from experience, it looks like the grate can take wood pellets if you have a bunch lying around. It recommends against liquid burners, but since it can take a full load of hardwood charcoal, I would imagine it could take an alcohol stove as long as you make sure it doesn't tip over or slide around. I wouldn't grill over an alcohol flame, though. If you burn wood, it will become sooty, so you'll need to find a way to prevent that (a thin coat of vegetable oil, perhaps) or clean it with oven cleaner. At just over a hundred bucks, this thing is a bit pricey, but if you do a lot of camping, this definitely beats lugging a full size grill to the campground. Plus, it should do a fine job as a rocket stove.

Grill sticks with sugary marinades but other than that not small little grill

First off the grill is cute as all hell, and you know i and nearly everyone here bought if because of Yuru Camp. But besides that, it’s genuinely a good grill. Lets start off on why it’s worth getting. First the construction is really good, it assembles well and doesn’t wobble. Also you might worry about the aluminum rivets like i did, don’t worry the thing has great air flow and so much so that i could touch the rivets and not get burned right away. Second the size is perfect, packs super compact and flat. Which also makes it easy to clean. Just toss in soupy water and soak and scrub, cleans up really easily. Weight is also good, weighs just 2 pounds with the grill grate and with then heavy duty charcoal grates. Also for lighting up charcoal in it, it’s really easy as well so long as you use the right starting method. But i can report thaan charcoal works well in this. Honestly if you want a grill or fire pit for camping this is an exceptionally good choice

Bought this offering box for my husbands Christmas present he can cook about 4 hotdogs at a time and it’s super tiny perfect for solo camping and very compact!!

So I bought this because of Yuru Camp. Is quite a bit sturdier than other compact grills I've tried and doesn't feel like it might tip-over or collapse when jostled. That does also imply it's on the heavy side for it's size but there is also a titanium model if you want to save some ounces.

Honestly I bought this one because it's featured in one of favorite anime shows about camping. I was also looking for something different. So when I found this one online I jumped at it. When I received the B-6, I was surprised at its small size and weight. The next day I tested this out on the beach with charcoal and it was great. I would say this is a great buy if you're into camping, grilling and are looking for something unique that not everyone has.

趣味でキャンプを始めようと思い、焚き火台を探していたところこのB6君を見つけ、一目惚れしたので購入しました。 B6サイズなので、とにかくコンパクトです！ 付属のポーチでコンパクトに収納できるので、持ち運びが楽です。 付属のグリルで肉を焼きましたが、B6サイズなので一気に肉を焼く場合は3枚程しか焼けません。でも、ソロキャンプなら十分だと思います！ 焚き火も問題なくできます！

タイトルの様にアニメを見て購入 確かにコンパクトで持ち運びは便利ですが、正面の扉は少し小さめなので 炭の追加とか大きいのは入れづらいです。 あとグリルの部分は２ｃｍほど高くなり炭からの距離を取れますが、滑り止めや落ち防止の縁がないので 焼き鳥でも焼肉でも気を付けないと横や奥から落ちますね
