Spanish Terracotta 5-Piece Small Tapa Plate Set, Multicolor

These are the perfect plates for snacks/desserts while enjoying a drink or coffee/tea. They are smaller than standard American plates, which is great for holding a small bite. They are very charming and rustic. They look really great as side plates with some terracotta dinner plates that I have.

I ordered these to see if I would like them, and because their small size meant I could place them on small bowls as lids. They are small. They fit my 5” bowls beautifully. They were well packed and in perfect condition. They are absolutely gorgeous. Startlingly gorgeous. I love them. They ruined all my other plates. I am now replacing my other plates and bowls with matching plates and bowls from this set.

They look authentic. As if the hands of an authentic Mexican crafted these of clay this morning, and shipped it over briefly after.

I recently bought these ceramic terracotta dishes, and while they are absolutely beautiful and the perfect size for appetizers, I’m really unhappy with the quality. After just one wash and use, I noticed some web-like cracking which according to Google is known as “crazing”. They feel firm, but the crazing concerns me; it’s not just a visual issue—it can sometimes harbor bacteria in those tiny cracks, which isn’t safe when eating off them. I love the look and size of these plates, but I’m disappointed with this purchase and worried about their long-term usability.

Sent as a gift to my sister and she likes them so much she is going to purchase more to add to her hacienda.

These plates are gorgeous and fabulous. They are a delight to eat off of, easy to clean, absolutely beautiful. I love them!

They are very pretty although I wouldn't swear they are hand painted. They're the perfect size for appetizers. Given as a gift so can't rate durability. The packaging was excellent. Update: I decided to buy a set for myself and just love them. Trying to downsize my portions, they work great for bread or dessert plates as well as appetizer plates. Another plus, the colors have not faded in the dishwasher.
