GNC Policosanol 10 mg - 60 Tablets | 60 Servings

My cardiologist wanted me to take statins and I refused. I went on a cholesterol lowering diet which helped somewhat, but not enough to please my doctor. I told my doctor I wanted 90 days to try natural things before I resorted to prescription medication. I read a lot of good things about Policosanol, so I bought this GNC brand Policosanol and took 1 pill each evening with a little food for the past 4 weeks. Just had my cholesterol levels checked and my total cholesterol dropped from 234 to 194 and my LDL level went from 152 down to 112. I am so pleased. Now I don't have to go on the nasty statin meds with all their side effects.

I purchased this product by reading the back of the label on the photo on the Amazon site. Once I received it it had additional other ingredients to include polyethylene glycol which I do not like in supplements. aswell as other ingredients not shown on the label on the Amazon photo. The information in these other ingredients can be found however in the information on the product if you scroll down and read every single word. This is very misleading to the consumer and unless this is a Knick off the photo of the label needs updating. I will not be using this product. See my enclosed photo and compare to label they have put in Amazon.

This did not decrease my cholesterol. I'm still using to see if I needed longer.
