Can 4 year olds play this game?

My 4 year old grandson plays this all the time and loves it. We just let him stand a little closer to the target and it works great.

The bolos are weighted with sand, but the ladders for the game are not weighted.

How does this compare to their deluxe version?

Deluxe version is much better. had problem with the standard one where the balls were leaking a very fine light colored sand from them. Only the first time we used it too. Go for the one with the golf balls for sure.
