Perfect for a first time shaver
This is my kids first razor. It was charged when we got it so I had him try the razor on his chin (he’s just getting hair in) and I had him try the trimmer (he’s actually had a mustache). He loved it. The flexible heads make the razor easier to use around the curves of his face and the trimmer worked well to remove hairs as well. He actually used it to shave his mustache off. The best part to me is that there is no way he can cut himself with it. As a single mom I was worried about that because I wasn’t sure how to explain using a normal razor on his face. It is a bit heavy. The noise is minimal. Taking the heads off to clean was simple. We didn’t rinse it under water because the little brush that came with it works great. It did come with a plastic attachment that is used to protect the blades when you are not using it. But, I bought a case for it anyways to help him keep everything together.

Budget razor, great shave
I am 73 years old with a light beard and severe dexterity issues. I finally relinquished my razor with disposable blades after opening up a 2 inch cut on my chin. I have found the series 3 razor does a good job giving me a close shave. I use it wet with a shaving cream in a tube and I have no irritation. It cleans up easily. For the money, it is a great option.

Solid budget shaver
I did quite a bit of research when I set out to find an electric razor that wouldn't break my bank, and this is the one that was on virtually every list. Now that I have it in hand and have used it for one week, I can see why. So why only 4 stars? Well, because it's relative. I've owned higher end razors, and quite frankly they're better. But you also pay about eighty to a hundred dollars more to climb to that tier. For the price I suspect that this will do for most men. Unless you're a male model or a Fortune 500 power exec, I suspect that you just wanna get your shave game down to "good enough", and this is. It's fairly quiet, charges quickly, is easy to clean and store. I recommend not waiting more than one day in between shaves, as its effectiveness declines greatly after 48 hrs of beard growth. In short; for the average student or work-a-day guy, this is probably an ideal electric razor.

Good product, shaves well without nicking skin, good for women's unwanted facial hair
Shaves well without cutting the skin. This is important as I am on blood thinners which causes even the smallest nick to take an hour to stop bleeding. Performance is excellent, and product is easy to use. Cannot remark on the price compared to other shavers. I am a 71 year old woman who uses it exclusively on my neck and face. I can recommend888 it to others.

A convenient, cost-effective, smooth shave
I just wanted to show some appreciation for this razor, since I've been having such a good experience with it. I have tried several razors over the past 2 years and this one was surprisingly a standout over all of them. Why? It's convenient, affordable, and it gives me a smooth shave with minimal irritation. The good: + The shaver has a nice solid build. I really appreciate the grippiness of the rubber handle. I also noticed that my hand just wants to go to the sides of the razor where it's designed to be held. I have noticed with some other razors that my thumb often ends up on the power button and accidentally turns it off. This does not happen with this razor for me. + A quick, smooth shave: It only takes a couple of passes to get a decently close shave. I will say that I've had razors that cut closer than this, but that isn't necessarily a good thing. I get razor burn on my neck from electric razors, but this one has never given me razor burn, so that's a big plus for me for a smooth shave. Also, I have only gotten minimal ingrown hairs from this razor, which I can't say for a lot of others I have tried. + Convenient: This razor is fairly cheap. The replacement parts are fairly cheap. I have had other razors that are fairly high maintenance and require spending time cleaning with each shave. While I'm sure you *could* do a deep clean on this razor every time you use it, I have noticed that just shaking out the excess hairs from the guards seems to be enough without a huge hit on performance. So I would say it's easy to clean. I also appreciate that if I lost this razor on a trip that it would not be that expensive to replace, compared to some more pricey options. + Features: Perhaps the biggest thing I have noticed trying several different types of razors is that the cutter bar in the center seen on some razors (such as this one) is absolutely essential to a good clean shave. I have hairs that grow in several different directions on my neck that are really difficult to remove with some razors. What I have noticed is that razors that come with the cutter bar in the center of their foils tend to do a much better job of getting these hairs. I also like that this one comes with the built-in beard trimmer to get the hairs that get too long for the cutter bar. With this razor, I rarely get the random stray hairs on my neck that I have had at times from other razors. + Noise level: This razor is on the quieter end of electric razors I have tried. Not the quietest razor, but not noticeably loud. It's an electric razor -- it's going to make some noise when you use it. The bad: - It would be nice if the power cord came with one of those upright stands. I just think it would look nicer in the bathroom that way. - The power button doesn't really have a safety lock. It seems like it would be easy to accidentally turn it on while it's sitting in a bag. The plastic cover does also cover the button, but it seems like it would still be easy to accidentally press it even with the cover on. Overall, I would highly recommend this razor if you want something affordable that can also get a relatively smooth shave in a short amount of time. I appreciate *not* having to spend a lot of time in the bathroom shaving every morning, so I really appreciate this razor.

Works reasonably well, one drawback
After literally decades of using one brand of electric razor, I switched to the Braun. My main reason for changing brands was that the newer version of my floating head razor no longer comes with a charger. There is a USB cord but no wall adapter, which was a deal breaker for me. It is like selling an incomplete product. Now for the Braun: I like the way it works. It came with a wall charger. I get a decently close shave and the trimmer works very well (be aware that the less expensive model does not have a trimmer). Shaving is pretty comfortable. It is easy to clean. The drawback is that the razor does not work if it is plugged in. You get a warning light, but, once it is completely run down, you have to plug it in for at least five minutes before you can unplug it and continue shaving. This has not been an issue yet, but I see that it could be at some time. So, in summary, I would say it is a good razor from a reputable company, made in Germany, at a reasonable price, just be aware that you have to be sure it’s charged.

Little technique & wet shaving results this much result within 5-6 minutes. Now if your wrist can act like pivoting head to follow the contours of your face then this is the perfect shaver. Also sensitive skin with dry shave can lead to read marks but why use dry if we can finish within 5 minutes with foam or gel. Just wash it with a hot water while shaver is on & it will clean itself perfectly. Super easy!!! As no one can guess that whether you used saftey razor or this shaver. It's completely value for money. I become a fan of Braun with its cheapest line of shaver series. No doubt this is the no 1 brand in the world for electric foil shavers.

For it's price, it gets the job done. I have a series 9 Braun shaver too. If you can afford it, get the series 9 version. It gives a much smoother, closer and comfortable shave. However, it is not fair to compare both because of their huge price difference. I got the Series 3 because it almost like the series 5 and 6. It is functional and looks like it is built to last. I use it for travel so my expensive kit stays at home.
