The quality is great, they seem sturdy, strong and perfect for making crochet keychains. They have a beautiful shiny look. There is an added swivel feature hanging off the keyring that glides smoothly. All in all, these were a great purchase and I plan on buying more.

Update Dec. 12/21: I was so happy with the first key rings I ordered that I bought more. They arrived three days ahead of original estimate (I'd have understood a delay, due to flooded roads). Once again, they're absolutely lovely. They feel great, they have all their parts, and couple extra were thrown in, just in case I guess. Thanks to the smaller size and the nice way they clip on to things, I'll be able to make great zipper pulls for my grandkids and all their equipment. I bought these small key rings to make some gifts. They were absolutely lovely to work with. They feel very nice, all nice and smooth, and the D-ring part opens smoothly and snaps back nicely. The 8mm ring at the bottom of the chains felt very solid and secure, but opened and closed easily with a pair of needle nosed jewelry pliers in each hand. (Tip: Push one end or the 8mm ring away from you, and pull the other end toward you. This keeps the ring in its circular shape and makes it easy to close again.) These are very small, which worked perfectly with the small beads and crosses I used. I've included a quarter in the shot to give an idea of the size. I received the full 50, and a couple extra. Since there was nothing wrong with any of them, the extras were a nice bonus. I'd definitely order these again.

These keychains are excellent quality, and the D snap mechanism works way better for any larger items you want to attach them to. I find them more versatile, since I can make bag charms as well as normal keychains, since a typical keyring is harder to attach. The keychains are good quality, I'm not worried about them coming detached, or unhooking from my keys. I've ordered over 100, and so far I've only found 1 that was missing the jump ring, which is an easy fix.

I always check the negative reviews before I buy something, to avoid surprises. The comments that say "flimsy" etc. are definitely not correct. These are quality hooks, and I will buy them again. Just the right size for my projects, the shape is pretty, and they have a durable feeling, probably will last long. I recommend it.
