These are wonderful for taking hot pans out of the oven. I mostly use them with my toaster oven because my big hot mitts seem to get in the way when I’m taking the food out. This are small, and convenient, and they do what are described to do.

I had to explain to my husband how to use these. Without that simple lesson, they look a little goofy and would be hard to know what they are for. Perfect for use with pans that have lids with handles that get hot. Why do they make metal handles on the top of lids to burn you as soon as you pick them up? Don't know- life's a mystery. I do know that these little whizbangs do work to protect your hands from burns.

Worked Great Plus One! I needed something for hot lids that wouldn’t be bulky and these pot holders were perfect. I love red so the color was a bonus. They are flexible and thick which protect from the heat. They are ergonomic, and can accommodate small/large thumbs and fingers. They are always in the open position making it easy to put over a hot lid handle. The shape allows it to stand upright on the counter or stove top as well as drape over a lid. It comes with three in a pack and I really only needed one, but I recently found a new use for them. I now use the extra pot holders like a book end to keep gravy packets from laying flat or falling over in the cupboard. It doesn’t slip around and can hold at least 6 or more packets upright against the side of the cupboard wall. I love these and would recommend them!

Specifically purchased to use with 2-qt pressure cooker given its small, hot bowl with very limited edge to grab. Previous attempts using hotpads or towels proved too cumbersome. Have also used them to drain a 6-qt stockpot but only when doing quick pour and it's crucial to be attentive to finger and hand placement. An improved version of these would have fingertips inside a tiny 'pocket' further protecting them from hot surfaces. These work very well with lifting a vessel which only necessitates use of thumb and tips of a few fingers. If anything larger, or which requires full use of hand...due to weight or dexterity issues...these won't be sufficient. An upside to their being so small is that they tuck nicely into a drawer corner in very small kitchen. Also discovered a rather unique use for these. As someone who replaces the battery on my watch, myself, found that using one of these helps protect fingers when popping the back off the watch with a paring knife and this provides strong, uniform pressure when squeezing the watch parts back together...with no damage (and more efficient than pliers and towel). :) Note: if you attempt this process, use caution!

I bought this item to grab small bowls from the microwave, but it was really not very functional. I would have liked something where you can slip in the fingers for a better grip. This is the only reason I gave it a 3 star. Material and durability is good.

I like the size of these. They are thick so no worries if burning hands. They wash well but can have water marks when air drying. They are saving my fingertips from burning when handling hot trays so they work as intended. My toddler took over 2 and use them as mitts in her play kitchen. I love seeing how it fits perfectly in her small hands. I have to borrow them from her whenever I need to use two 😆.

My crew is constantly getting hot pans out of drying ovens all day long. These are so much more convenient than pot holders that get in the way and can touch samples. Everyone is pleased with how they work. Can get to samples so much quicker. Well worth it.

I paid $2.00 each at Walmart a couple years ago, 1 black. 1 red (last they had). This one was way overpriced, but I wanted to have a matching pair ( red). Nothing beats them for getting stuff out of the microwave! Small, has ridges to help grip, and easy on/off!

I wanted small and they are small but ok for some things - perfect for a grab opening a bottle of wine lol!
