A bit flimsy on the back, strong on the other.
My reading glasses came with a hard case twice the size it should've been. This was pretty much the perfect replacement to actually carry my glasses around for, well, reading things. The front and sides are sturdy enough to protect, but not inflexible it could risk cracking. The back with the belt loop is more flexible. Haven't tried the belt loop itself. The snap closure's good (requires two hands to open up); the flip top may be a bit too flexible depending on how long/sturdy your glasses are.

Home Run!
I finally found a good one. Very hard case to protect your glasses. Compact. It won't hold large sunglasses, but my prescription ones fit just fine. My biggest peeve with products like this is that the belt loop hook is attached with Velcro, and it comes apart. I lost a cell phone that way. Not this one. This belt loop strap is permanently sewn on. And it is wide enough for a wide heavy-duty belt. I also like the way it holds the glasses vertically. The ones that sit horizontal just get in the way. Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase!

Looks Good but did not last
Great case for 30 days..... then just after the window closed to return, the inside support fell out and now it is a soft case.... not a hard case...... they should have used super glue to secure the inside supports....

Eyeglass belt case
Strond Stiching, quality leather, but polycarbonate hard shell cracked right away

The Top Doesn't Crack Anymore. I wish the internal plastic box were a bit stronger.
Updated review: They have replaced the thick leather with a thinner more supple leather. So the leather doesn't crack where it flexes. The only problem is that now, if I bump into things (This is partly my fault, I'm none too careful when I'm wearing these on my belt) the internal plastic reinforcing/support will crack.) I really LOVE the design of this case which keeps your reading glasses available at your hip as long as you wear a belt it is designed for. It's the TOP open design combined with durability that's ingenious. Every other case requires one hand to hold and another to open or is too soft to protect cheap reading glasses. I'd also be happy it they could create a version of this case with faux leather (Naugahyde or artificial ultra suede) to lower the cost. Ideally it would have an even sturdier internal box/support.

Not worth buying
Initial quality is good but it doesn't hold up. Thin plastic housing breaks very easily.

Worth the money.
I read the one star reviews and a lot of reviews saying it’s not a hard case and the snap close button harms there eye glass which made me reluctant on buying it. After buy and returning two other eyeglass holder I decided to give this one a try. It is a hard case and the snap close button has a lot of fabric over it preventing eye glass damage. Hope this review help you decide.
