Worked as advertised
Worked great for removing the transmision drain plug. Can't give it a rating for durability because I only usd it to remove and install the drain plug.

It’s a Good, Very Specific Tool
Does what it’s supposed to do. Purchased to flush the manual transmission case for a FWD Volkswagen. The tool fit the drain bolt snugly despite some corrosion inside the head. No stripping or slipping and handled torque with no marring on the tool. I recommend you purchase a 17mm Allen socket bit if you are planning on flushing your gear oil. Make sure you can loosen the fill bolt before you go ahead and buy the drain bolt tool. Harbor freight sells a metric set with a lifetime warranty, good to have for general engine work.

Not 3/8" drive
Nice compact tool for special use, but it is not 3/8" drive it is actually 1/2" drive. This means I need to use a larger head 1/2" drive ratchet which may not fit in the tight space near my manual transmission fill plug. I do not recommend this tool for similar tight space situations.

it is not 3/8 drive, it is 1/2 kind of useless because, the idea of buying tools was 3/8 driver to make it more shallow

Perfect socket for the job !
High quality tool for a great price, bolts were torqued pretty tight and the socket still looks brand new. The short height really helps, as space is tight behind the caliper, with a longer socket you definitely won’t have space to get the ratchet or breaker bar on. Fast shipping saved me too !

Needed if you have an Audi
Works on Audi A4. Impossible to change transmission fluid without this type of tool.

Used this socket too change the trans fluid in my 03 GTI 6 spd. Worked flawlessly and for much less than ECS tuning was asking for the same tool.

Fantastic First Order
Ordered the 16mm tripple square from lella auto to service my vw manual transmission. Was worried when I saw the tracking info stop after the second stop and stay there for a week. I emailed the seller and asked if it showed the same on his end. He immediately sent another (as per my request) which arrived precisely on time with no charge.
