I originally picked up the Roving Cove HeftyFit Edge Protector to soften some sharp corners around the house, and it works perfectly for baby-proofing—thick, dense, and easy to install. I ended up using an extra section in the garage, and it’s been great for preventing door dings too. The material is durable enough to handle bumps while still soft enough for safety. I have had no issues with adhesive so far. Bottom line: A versatile, heavy-duty edge protector that works equally well for child safety and protecting surfaces in the garage. Easy install and solid quality.

hese edge protectors work very well and were easy to install. The material is thick and soft, which helps cushion sharp corners and makes things much safer around the house. The adhesive holds firmly and they fit nicely on different types of furniture edges. They also blend in well and don’t look bulky. Great product for baby-proofing or protecting kids from sharp table corners. Highly recommend.

This is a good product that performs well and is made of quality materials. I like that the manufacturer provides the authentic 3M tape separately to ensure quality - as it would not coil well. Installation requires attention to detail and I measured each piece about 1/8 inch larger than required to mush the seams together so that they were tight with no gaps. I also purchased the matching corners - perfect together. I placed this on pointy wood trim in my playroom and it looks great and sticks well and does the job. The thickness is good as protection but doesn't stick out - it blends in well. Follow the instructions to uncoil the roll and let it straighten out for 24 hours prior to installation. Also, straighten the pieces while applying the double-sided tape. There's reasonable ability to reposition the product while installation to make adjustments; but I wouldn't push it too far.

Lost a star because the provided tape just doesn’t stick. I know it’s not the main product but if you’re going to provide it then the review is as a whole. Change the double sided tape to something more substantial and it’ll be 5 stars.

I have bought this same product from other brands, and they don't hold up to this. This one is much much better! It's hard to tell in the photos, but it really is a step up. It just feels more premium in the actual material. I recommend. It is also protective and can shield a head from a sharp edge very well. I recommend this for toddler and small kid safety to protect little heads from counters, tables, sharp edges of furniture, etc. So... this product is a little bit more expensive than some... but I think it's better value for money as the foam is just higher quality. Color is nice too!

I just finished a little project in my bedroom, which is a small cramped bedroom because I have too much furniture and too many things in there. But I put a very narrow table between my bed and the window. This narrow table is supposed to be placed behind a sofa. I used this table because it has electrical and USB ports on the top so I can plug-in whatever I want right there. My problem is that my bed is a twin XL, which is narrow and the table is right next to my bed so I often wake up in the middle of the night because I bang my knees on the table. After enduring many bruises, I clipped a piece of black foam rubber along the edge, but it kept sagging in the middle so what was the point? I finally got fed up and searched for a product that would cover furniture edges and of course I found it on Amazon right away. I couldn’t believe I found these thick Edge Protectors that fit perfectly on my table. I bought the Roving Cove HeftyFit Edge Protector 6 foot one in onyx Black. After reading the reviews about the adhesive tape that comes with the product being difficult to remove, I decided to use some sticky squares that I’ve used before. I used Birllaid Mounting Squares 1”x1” Clear Adhesive Removable (for wood, glass, ceramic, walls) that I bought here at Amazon. These mounting squares really stick yet they can be removed afterwards. It takes some muscle work and manual dexterity, but you can peel them off and they don’t ruin your original surface. I took some photos to show you my process. I’m an artist so I have a metal burnisher. You stick one sticky side of the mounting square to your furniture, or whatever you’re sticking the Edge Protector on, and you burnish the shiny covered part to make sure adhesive is completely flat. Then you just peel the little plastic flap on the mounting square and pull it off and it exposes the sticky surface. Then just press the Edge Protector down, keeping it taught as you go along the edge. It’s pretty easy. I did it by myself but another pair of hands would make the job easier. I’m really impressed with the finished look and also like the feel of it. I think this is going to save my body from future bruising. I would highly recommend this product. Play around with the adhesive tape. You don’t have to use the tape that comes with the product, I didn’t. Good Luck!

These don't work (well). They didn't stay on for long. Fell off in Less than a month. SOME of them fell off the same week.🫨 Plus, it didn't come with the corner pieces. The Tape must not be that good. I used another kind of double sided tape, and of course, that Didn't stick, bc it is attached to the Other tape on the item. This DOESN'T work on fabrics. 😞I Should've guessed, right?😭 But it Doesn't even stick on steel Either.😥There were cushion pieces Alll over my floor.😥And Those were the areas that I Needed protection from, the Important areas!😥The Only Reason why I gave it a 3, (while it actually deserved a 2), is because they took it back; I was Refunded quickly. And I Actually did use it, BUT it does Not work well.😕Quite disappointed. Guess I'll have to go back - to the drawing board.

Does not stick comes out. Hence if no use. Please return. Please refund.

This edge protector has been holding up decently well although it does come off on some of the edges but it is nice and thick foam

I was hoping these would stay in place. Unfortunately, our 1 year old managed to remove them within one day of sticking them on.

I have used something similar and it’s stuck very well. This was very poor quality and peeled off in less than a day.
