These are so handy for so many reasons!

These thread scissors are very sharp, precisely what I wanted for cutting yarn. They’ve made a great addition to my crochet notions bag, but I quickly learned they’re too sharp to throw in without some protection. The blades poked right through the plastic tip protector they came with, so I made a leather wrap to protect both the blades and my fingers. In terms of functionality, they do the job well. They easily cut through yarn and are comfortable to use despite the short blade. However, their finish isn’t as polished and refined as I expected. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. They’re sharp and effective. If you plan on carrying them around, just be prepared to find a more durable way to protect the blades.

I've had these for several months now and reach for them quite often. I don't sew but I do like keeping my garments and shoes as pristine as possible and find this little tool to be an absolute must. You can snip the tiniest of things accurately and safely, I've even started removing the little "pills" that seem to accumulate on cashmere/wools/athleticwear, etc. They're really an all-purpose tool because they can handle wayyyyy more than just fabric. Out of desperation I ended up reaching for this to clean out my Roomba...and it worked flawlessly... all you pet owners out there know what I'm talking about! Great quality, highly recommend.

These little scissors take a little while to receive but definitely does what you need them to do! It is well worth the wait! They are small in the hand extra sharp and have a great crunch sound when cutting. The plastic guard that fits over the blades may wear out over time but you can easily fashion something else for it as that is not the deal breaker. The star of the show is the scissors and they do not disappoint. Will definitely buy more! They are small in the hand and they do not get in the way of what you are working on.

Compact and sharp. I bought this to cut hair and string off my vacuum brush head. I ordered this along with a seam ripper for the same purpose. It was my destiny that the seam ripper was missing from its box so was given a refund for that. This is all I need. It cuts through anything wrapped around the roller like butter.

Instead of having been forged from a single piece of metal, the product is a cheap multi piece welded product incorporating a bent sheet metal handle having a crossbar and a poor quality finish.

These are SO COOL. I don't sew, only needed a small set for my repair kit and am so glad I choose these. Repairing buttons and fixing up holes just became that much more fun. They are very sharp, accurate, and easier to use than what I've used in the past. Only fault I find in them is that they are pointed at the end, which I'd likely assume has a purpose but for a layman it poses a mild risk of pricking fine garments.

I'm really disapointed in the quality of these scissors. I have real Kotobuki scissors from Japan and the quality isn't even comparable to these ones. The super cheap packaging gives it right away when you open them. Don't wste your money and find a specialized japanese knife shop to buy authentic kotobuki thread scissors.
