So far so good; same as the ones I buy at Natural Grocers. Will edit if have any issues with leaking. I appreciate the built in handle on this; easier to carry.

I think this jug because it does not have a seam across the bottom. My last two 5 gallon jugs prior to this one started leaking from the seam. So far so good!

I take my BPA free water jugs to a local water store where the owners will rinse out your water jugs for you before you fill them up with their filter water. What I really appreciate it was one of the owners helping me with my jugs and noting how impressed she was with the material of the jugs. Mind you this is a person that does this a lot for a lot of people all day long as her job because she helps operate this business and this extra service they do for their customers. I just wanted to know that for this product because I thought that was special. I would not have realized how special these jugs were had a professional not brought it to my attention. I do appreciate the BPA free material because that is why I purchased them. Worth every penny. Five stars

Living in a hurricane prone area it's good to have a supply of drinking water stored. This jug is designed so that an older lady, such as myself, can manage to pick it up and move it when it's full. I also bought the automatic dispenser top sold separately so it's easy to dispense water when needed. I highly recommend these water jugs for everyone, you never know when a storm will hit and this will save you from the long lines of people buying water to stock up for the storm. Be prepared and have your supply stored. They are BPA free, sturdy, and hold 5 gallons of clean drinking water. They are easy to store in a garage, basement, or a closet. I have peace of mind knowing I'm prepared when they predict the next storm.

For the love of God, DON'T BUY THESE! As of five minutes ago, I'm now out $100 because the last one of the three I initially purchased has also broken, causing significant water damage to the local environment. You'd think US-made at a premium price would guarantee quality, but the coin-jar jugs we had 30 years ago were ten times the quality! FYI, I'm a gentle person, never damaging equipment, a toy, or electronic device in my life. These are as fragile as eggs, because all I did was gently set the full jug on my rug, and the simple act of a little flex at touchdown was enough for an 8 inch crack to materialize, burst, and instantly flood the hallway! Remember, I bought three, and have already replaced two for similar incidents. To not make this too long, all reviews good and bad are true for this product, but are you willing to risk it, or give your precious money to this embarrassing company? For me, never again. Awful, and I won't be the last person this happens to. I'll add a picture once I'm finished cleaning up the mess. New Wave - wanna make it right and replace one (or three), or should I start spreading the word to everyone I encounter? Let's see just how much you actually believe in proper customer service.

These are used everyday for our homes drinking water.

We purchase bottled water from a dispenser, with bottles that had screw caps....unable to find replacements. Found this website, and although pricey, these bottles are top-notch and will be used for years. Highly recommend this product.

The bottles are PET 7, which means they are not BPA free.

The top of this bottle isn't the proper size to fit the standard lids that need to be used to safely use with my water cooler. The blue lids that are used to fit into the water cooler won't fit this bottle so this bottle is basically useless for me to use with my water cooler. Would not recommend.

I ordered these water bottles they were were expensive to get to Canada, the 5 gallon cracked on its own with no force, damage or unusual use. I did get just under a years worth of use out of it, but other bottles I have had lasted for many years. Not sure if I will buy a new one, will see if the company will honour a reduced rate or discount for replacement. Other than that they are just as other bottles and am pleased with them, expect have not found out where to get more lids as they are not the same as the standard lids for ones that arenot PBA free
