GM Genuine Parts 20969645 Front Driver Side Lower Door Hinge

It is factory original. It takes a little bit of work to remove and install a couple of the screws. Very happy with the end product as my door now easily opens and closes.

Primed, painted and installed in the same afternoon. Seems great so far. I'll update if I start having issues. I saw no indicators that it was a GM OEM. No box or sticker indicated a GM product.

Perfect fit. Cheaper than everyone else also. Installation wasn't bad. No more noisy doors. Matched nicely.

My previous hinge broke (the wheel that the notched piece slides against broke at one end) and I wanted to replace as my door was a pain to close sometimes. This is an OEM hinge and seems very solid. I painted with some paint and clear I had from a rust repair so that it didn't stand out as a replacement. It should be fine unpainted, and you could get a rattle can of color-match lacquer from the auto part store as the paint in this case is merely cosmetic. I've had the hinge in for a few months now and still works and looks as good as new. Hopefully, I get another 10 years out of this hinge (and my truck).

Installed on a 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab. This was the driver side door lower left hinge. Install can be a struggle especially with the 13mm bolt on the lower back side. You will need some sort of half moon box end wrench.

Worked great. I would recommend using a choker strap around door and lift straight up with a Vermitte or chainfall instead of a car jack if your doing it yourself. And use a felt tip marker around your old hinge before removing it.
