Works on a keyboard with glowing letters (but obviously these don't also glow). I purchased the orange lettering on transparent stickers so that my english letters would continue to be backlit. I like that they do not fit the whole keyboard key, that makes sure that there is no overhang to pick up extra dust or catch my fingertips. I didn't notice the feel of these stickers after the first day. I did cut some of them myself, because I didn't want all the characters, just the zhuyin. I cut them before detaching them from the backing, so my cuts were clean. I had them for 10 months before I needed to purchase another laptop for other reasons. In that time, the keys my fingers touched the most (dfrvjkuinm) wore out the most, taking off most of the orange pigment and leaving me with whitish characters. This wear-away pattern seems perfectly acceptable for stickers on a keyboard and, although I wish it wasn't the case, I don't fault the manufacturing. During the time I used them they didn't move or detach from the keys at all. After applying them I tried to remember to always use a cloth to protect my screen when the laptop was closed.

Bought it second time, good quality and durability. It no longer has the non-clear cutting issue. The keyboard that I applied this sticker 2 years ago still looks good. Transparent feature is beneficial to reveal the original letters on the keyboard and let the backlit go through. Highly recommended!

This is easy to stick on the keyboard. The yellow color font is very easy to read from my black laptop keyboard.

Extremely useful for those using the original phonetic system for Mandarin to type on a physical keyboard.

overall these stickers aren't very well-made. If you accidently didn't place the sticker the way you want it on the keyboard, after you peel back the adhesive side will retain marks and the sticker will appear opaque; this is even after cleaning the keyboard (which I bought new less than 2 months ago) with alcohol wipes. So the opaqueness is not from dirt on keyboard, and is likely from the adhesive getting easily detached from the plastic backing.
