These pattern blocks are of better quality than what I thought! They are a little more weighted and the colors are bright. The activity cards are a bit small, but other than that these are great.

It was smaller than I thought it would be, but it is nice. It will be great for my 9 year old granddaughter.

I remember using these when I was in elementary school, so of course I got some for my daughter. She loves to play with these. I love that we can use them for structured learning but also for imaginative and independent play!

Quite a bit smaller than I thought. I figured the “maps” would be big enough to put the tiles on, but they are like a deck of cards. No biggie, just not quite what I thought.

These small wooden pieces are beautifully crafted and fit nicely in the storage pouch. I bought them to keep my 94 year old mother engaged, but my grandchildren love them too. The set comes with pattern design cards that have a star rating for difficulty; my mother likes to time herself making a pattern, and then see if she can beat her time on the next try! I like these wooden pattern blocks. The colors are bright, feel sturdy and the wood is smooth. I made small STEM kits for my kindergarten class. I like how thin they are. They worked perfectly for what I needed them for.

I had read the reviews and noticed many mentioned how small these pieces were, but wow, they are tiny. This is not a toy for 3 and under, I am even nervous with my 3-year-old honestly. The triangle piece is the same size as a nickel for reference. The square is exactly the size of a quarter, and the blue piece is narrower than a dime. I'm posting pictures with coins as a baseline to hopefully show the scale. The paint seems to be chipping on a few of the items and I went ahead and tossed those since I was worried about paint chips and the quality of paint used. I honestly thought about using a lead paint test but didn't have one available. I had some other Tangram outlines I was hoping to pair with this toy; however, these pieces are so small they don't match up. This set does come with cards with pictures to make with the shapes, and those have been a HIT with my kids. They really do love this set and there are tons of pieces which makes it easy to split up for two or more kids playing at the same time. It comes with a carrying case, but I would invest in another bag to store these with a zipper opening.

Love these and my students Pre-K through second grade love these blocks as well! So versatile you can do a lot with them for example, math, science, principals of designs, etc. very durable last forever. Great value of for the money.
