This is the 2nd replacement toilet seat for my B & Q Fabian toilet... the original broke within a few years and b & q do not stock the replacement seats which is ridiculous... and I searched the internet for replacements and was lucky to find them on here! I would have been better off replacing the whole unit, because the 2 replacement seats have cost me £85 over the years!!! And a complete new toilet bowl/cistern/seat is £100 - however the trouble that would cause is too much!!! The toilet seat is not identical to the original but is a close second ! Easy to fit it you are nimble and don’t mind your hand up the back of a toilet Cistern... as you can’t see what you are doing but it’s but feel only... sturdy enough to do what it’s supposed to... very easy one touch release clip to remove for thorough cleaning - and with teenage two boys at home it needs it !!!!! It’s a bit more expensive the second time around so let’s hope it lasts longer than my last one!!!

Writing this review on the insistence of my hubby. This toilet seat was ordered after being recommended in a review on B&Q's website. If you have a B&Q Cooke & Lewis Fabienne toilet, then this is the perfect seat to replace the absolute rubbish one that comes with the toilet. £40 very, very well spent. Brilliant fit, quality and fixings. Thank you

Had been told this seat is a compatible replacement for the cooke a lewis fabian seat. The seat is shorter in.length than the fabian so had to return.

Nothing like described it doesn’t fit the cook and Lewis toilet at it is far to small, no complaints with the seller as it’s not there fault and they refunded straight away

As per several reviews, we too had installed a Cooke & Lewis Fabian toilet in 2012. The seat was fine but it was no longer soft closing so after searching on line we decided to bite the bullet and pay nearly £45 for this. Installation was easy. The seat sits more further forward from the tank, easier for cleaning and the hinges tighten from above which is good because my husband no longer has the strength in his hands to tighten from behind the bowl and for this model it’s a bit awkward too. The seat is smaller than the original and we only installed it yesterday but it fits well and overall we are happy with the result.

If you are unlucky like me and have got the Cooke & Lewis Fabienne Alpine toilet at home you’ll know the seat it comes with breaks very quickly. Managed to get this replacement and was easy to install and fits almost perfectly (the toilet is notoriously awkward to find a perfect match). Very happy!

This Euroshowers 87370 V20 ONE square soft-close seat is a near enough fit to replace the cracked original Twyford Moda seat . This seat is satisfactory for prolonged meditation as well as a quick dot and dash. Its new soft close works well enough, The installation adjustment works well if all the surfaces are dry and clean of any hints of soap (I gave them a final rinse with Isopropanol ). The fittings should grip the ceramic surface and the expanding plugs shouldn’t split the pan; take courage and be careful in doing up the locking screws only just enough to prevent the seat sliding about on the pan. My picture shows it in place, it’s not a perfect match, but a blind man would be glad to see it, and this seat saved me a small fortune.
